This is more of an observation than a musing -  I always knew there were lots of exploitative women-in-prison movies out there.  I mean, there used to be garish B&W ads for stuff like Ilsa: She Wolf of the S.S. right there in the newspaper when I was a kid.  Even down here in the Bible Belt.

As I began to delve deeper into the mire in the 90's, when I took up trading sick flicks on tape with other losers, I was floored by just how damned many WIP flicks there are in general!  Just the sheer number of "Nazi/S.S. WIP flicks alone is a bit boggling.  And I keep discovering more!  You'd think at some point the tepid well for such dreck would run dry.

I've always been something of a pack-rat when it comes to my varied interests, but i never really grasp just how much junk I've actually accumulated until it's time for a move.  Hopefully, this relocation will be my last.

I wish I had of now.  I could run around, dry-humping furries at the next Pensacon.

You still have the pink gorilla suit, though, right? Add a goldfish bowl over your head and you're ready for action, in both senses of that word.

So, yesterday was my first opportunity to be over here, in the new place, and break open the many moving boxes and start sorting through all my crap.  I swear, unpacking and finding homes for everything (while it might be exciting for some) is sheer torture for me.  I'm just no good at it.  I will try to prioritize, but invariably become side-tracked.

Like, I need to start with something in this box, but to do that, I will need to move some boxes where I want it to be.  So, I start doing that, only to notice that the place I'd intended to remove them to (to get them out of the way of the thing I'd intended to start with) has something that came from the old place that ought to get a quick cleaning.  So, suddenly, I'm in the bathroom, drying off this something after cleaning it, wondering where IT should go.  The whole day yesterday was like this.  It didn't help that I had electricians and cable guys and then the computer guru tromping through.  And all this while hampered by an extended bout with total sobriety.

I know how you feel, TMC. About a year ago, I had to move a houseful of stuff into a one bedroom apartment. It was like living in a maze of boxes for months. Add to that the grief of having to go through my late hubby's things. I still haven't got things the way I want them, and I've still got way too much stuff, but at least I got rid of all those boxes.

That sounds awful, Jonny.  Here's to this year being somehow, some way, at least slightly better than last.  I am fortunate n that I have the exact opposite situation for once in my adult life cycle.  I now have a wealth of space!  So far, it's just more rooms for me to dither around in, getting sidetracked left and right.  I'm instantly liking it, though, ain't gonna lie.  However, I seem to have a goldfish-like ability to eventually encompass whatever-size space I inhabit.

It occurred to me today that if you sum up the plot of Hamlet,(Guy murders his brother in order to take over his business and bang his wife. Son of the dead man goes looking for revenge) it basically sounds like something out a 1950's hard-boiled novel.  Something sold on a rack at the drugstore, with a really sleazy cover.

If you dip celery in your Nutella it is.  Or spread it on an apple wedge.

Alex Jones makes me appreciate David Icke. They're both batshit crazy, but Icke seems much less hate driven.
(Edit-I just realized that Icke has been accused of anti-semtism, but he's also said " “If we want a world of love and peace,” he says through stifled sobs, “we have to be loving and peaceful with everyone, even people we don’t like.”

Whereas I don't even think Jones gives lip service to that sort of thinking.

Or maybe I just find reptilian aliens entertaining.

Unfamiliar with Icky, although Jones seems pretty icky to me.

The thing that kills me about the Jones's, and the Limbaugh's, the Hannity's, and the majority of the conservative radio pundits is how they can stretch a single premise into a whole 2-hour show.  Something that could have been summed-up in a ten minute segment becomes one long 2-hour tirade, mainly shouting about how this-or-that the liberals are.   Even if I was more conservative-leaning, I'd be like, "Okay!  I get it.  You proved your point an hour ago."  I just can't fathom why people need that kind of constant barrage of propaganda supporting their beliefs all day when there's som many other things they could be doing with their minds.
