It was too hard to get the link on the website at the moment, that might be sorted today.
Anyway, here is Wavell's match report

wp v sale (promotion contenders)
once again skipper dave hine won the toss and with 3 regular first teamers back decided to bat first
this plan nearly backfired as quickly both openers were dismissed but aussie oneill steadied the ship and built useful partnerships with amatiello and newall and after 45 overs winnington had posted a useful 160 and a welcome 8 batting points
then the fireworks began as oneill singlehandedly dispatched the sale bolwers all around the ground and into the works as 73 runs were plundered off only 30 balls with oneill finishing on an awesome 145 not out and cherian a useful 20
previously sale had bettered this score and winnington knew that the would have to bowl and field excellantly to have any chance of victory
with cowell once again leading the attack and taking 2 wickets sale quickly fell behind the scoring rate
with excellant back up bowling from cherian amatiello chambres and cormack and great catching from wales as well as great cover fielding from the captain for a run out sale were never in with a chance, all that remained was could winnington pull off a much needed win
this was not to be as the sale batsmen doggedly battled out the remaining overs and finished on 168 -7
a valuable 14 points to sales 9 which takes winnington out of the bottom 2 relegation places
chairman ian johns commented "sean is something special his batting was simply a different class"
next weeks game v middlewich away
sunday cheshire cup v brooklands   away cancelled rescheduled for next week

Report from the Sale website.  It gives a fair account in my opinion

Sale suffer late batting blitz

Sale were performing well enough for the first 40 overs of their game against Winnington Park on Saturday as they held the home side to 119 for 5. Rick Halkon picked up two early wickets and J-P Lee and Jamie Broadbent were also successful in the early stages of their bowling spells. However, Park's new Australian batsman Sean O'Neill, unbeaten on 59 at that point, then decided that some momentum to the innings was needed. He transformed Park's innings with an amazing and powerful blitz of the Sale bowling that took his own score to 145 over the next 10 overs, helping his side run up a phenomenal 105 runs in this period prior to the declaration! In fact 72 runs came off the final five overs including 8 sixes mostly pulled to midwicket or square of the wicket. O'Neill's final tally came from 114 balls and included 21 boundaries (10 sixes and 11 fours). Two balls sailed out of the ground never to be seen again! Rarely can a side have reached such a high score without getting full batting points but rarely can an innings have seen such an amazing transformation of run rate in the later stages!

After the shellshock of this performance, Sale made a muted reply and lost three early wickets in the first 12 overs. Struggling to take the run-rate much over 3 there was never much chance of reaching their target although John Taylor with 46 made a bold attempt to repeat the heroics of his fellow Aussie. After his dismissal it was just a question of Sale scoring as many batting points as they could and they just reached a fourth point after 45 overs, thanks to battling performances by Rick Hampton (35) and Matt Millward (32 not out).

The match fizzled out to a draw with Sale on 168 for 7 at the close, the visitors picking up 9 points to Park's 14.

I think this report has the edge thanks to punctuation...

Wavell's inability to string a sentence together.

You'd think to become a nurse Wavell would of had to learn to use full stops and commas!
