One person ends up doing two events in what ever order you choose.  - Darren

If you sign up as a dual person team for the  Xterra in August how is it broken up between participants and activities? does one person swim, one bike, and they both run?

Topic :   The Wild Rockies Team

Introductions please!

Darren Lightfield: Owner of Wild Rockies Racing, Pro Racer on the Tamarack Resort Team
Lorien Lightfield: Wild Rockies Public Relations, Pro Racer on the Tamarack Resort Team
Jessie Dickerson: Wild Rockies Event Coordinator, Graphic Designer and "Wanna-Be-Downhill Mtn Bike Racer"
Paul and Michelle Fleming: Professional Volunteers, Paul is our MC and Michelle is there to keep us laughing! We love you guys!

Darren and I (Jessie) are the Brains and Lorien is the Beauty behind this thing we call Wild Rockies Racing. Both Darren and Lorien have extensive experience on all the courses and have personally raced for many many years. I will be dealing mainly with graphic support and registration and general event coordination. Lorien, the one with crazy curly hair, is the one to ask about the race layout and course the day of the race but be ready for her enthusiam...she will definitely get you pumped to ride! (Darren is too busy and I don't want him distracted! :-) Just kidding...)

We want to focus on some great racing while staying community and environmently focused. Some things on our mind:

We encourage ride sharing and have created a thread within this community for you to do so.

We are open to organizations who would like to do a little fund raising by hosting bbq's at the races. We do not make money from the food we provide at the race yet consider it a high priority. And we ask the same of you...provide great food, a wide variety (not just hamburgers please) and for a small (not large) profit.

We encourage recycling...please try not to use the disposable water bottles and if you do please put them in the appropriate recepticals.

We offer discounts on race entry for those willing to volunteer or have family/friends do it for them. PLEASE keep this in mind...its a lot of work and the more people who help the more fun it will be for all!

Oh and hablamos espanol!!

With that said we hope this forum works well for everyone and we look forward to meeting you if we haven't already or talking about old times if we have!

Cheers,
Jessie
