Pull up a bar stool. I started the Tinhorn Saloon as an online bar, just add beer. The Tinhorn Saloon has categories for everything from muscle cars to pinups, from music to tattoos. Talk sports, talk shop, talk sh*t, it's all fair game.
Promote whatever you like. Unlike some forums that frown on self-promotion, it's welcomed at the Tinhorn Saloon. In a band? Promote gigs, new releases, merchandise, whatever. In a contest? Feel free to let the members know, so that they can support you. The purpose of a message board should be to inform, and the Tinhorn Saloon can help you get the word out.
LOADS of eye candy. There's plenty of entertainment while you peruse the Tinhorn Saloon. If you have a broadband connection, you can listen to tunes, courtesy of Pandora. And if you don't have broadband, you can still browse the 4000 pinup images posted, with more added all the time. Where else are you going to find 4000 images of rockabilly/punk/retro/rock/goth girls ABSOLUTELY FREE? (All image posts include links to the model/photographer/artist's website.)
Put your banner up at the Tinhorn Saloon. Draw more attention to your page. If you will put the Tinhorn Saloon banner up on your page, the Tinhorn Saloon will put your banner in the header.
