You walk in through two extrememly large and heavy wooden doors which mark the entrance into the magical school of Hogwarts. The giant stone area that you have just walked into is the Great Hall. Above these two doors is a large clock that the students and staff all rule under for the hours and times throught their day. To the right of you are two large hourglasses; one for Ravenclaw and one for Gryffindor. To the left, the same, only for Slytherin and Hufflepuff. You being to walk into the warm and welcoming hall, and stepping down the two steps that led up to the Entrance Doors, notice there is a smaller doorway to your left that leads down to the dungeons. To your right, now, is another large wooden door, though not near as large as the Entrance doors behind you. This wooden door leads, no doubt to the Great Hall where all your feasts and activities are held. front of you now, across the large stone floors that have a beautiful stone pattern, is a glorious staircase. The staircase is wide at the bottom, then slowly goes inward, then expands again into the second level. On either side of the staircases' bottom level where you stand, are corridors with more smaller doorways and doors. In one of the doors in the corridor to the left of this Grand Staircase, you see several Hufflepuffs heading to their common room. Looking back up at the staircase, you cross the Entrance hall and slowly walk up them, feeling almost like Royalty on it's grandess. When you reach the top, there is a solid wall about eight feet infront of you with giant tapestrys hanging solemly. To your left is a long and windy corridor that turns out of your sight, and to your right, the same. You decided to go towards the corridor on your right, and as soon as you turn the corner in that rather small corridor, you nearly run into a door that you were not expecting. You open the door and see that you have just entered an impossibly tall room fill with hundreds upon hundreds of portraits, gigantic staircases that keep turning, and yet more doors at the top of them. You have just opened the door into the Grand Staircase. You shut the door and walk back down the narrow corridor and end up back at the top of the marvelous staircase where you stand and overlook your beautiful school's Entrance Hall.
