I bought 400K and there was no public chat about the transaction and I didnt tell anyone in GW that I bought gold. How do they find out if people bought gold ?

The only thing that happen was that the person asked me "400K ?" and I answered Yes.
After receiving the goods I said "good doing business with you".
I dont know if GW Admins monitor Private Messages in the game and if they did how would they know I wasnt saying "Good doing business with you" in reference to just buying GW Items with GW Gold and not Buying GW Gold with Realife Money ?

 I was just banned as well for the same offense. I did not type a word & the transaction took less the 10 seconds. I believe they monitor your gold level & look for spikes in your currency. But you have to keep tying. Farming for money takes to long and is boring (WHO HAS THE TIME).

Either way, your gold is lost.  Instead of getting the 500k i ordered, i got 110 ecto instead, and i had just sold them all to players when I got caught.  When you get suspended for 3 days from buying gold, they remove all your gold, but keep your items..  If I had not sold those ecto, but still been caught, I would have only lost 11k, but now I lost mu 500k lol.

I sent in an appeal, and I'll see what the results are.

 They've developed a new system that is hard to beat and will kill gold/item selling. Anet has just gotten serious

Get one to Guest invite you into their guild hall, and make the transaction there.  If it's gold your recieving, then give him/her a random item, preferably something like a cheap UnIdentified gold item, and trade that for your gold.  If its items your recieving, then give him like 1k.
