Congratulations to all of you who are participating in the Spring 2008 Weight Loss Contest.

Below are the rules and parameters for this program:

Rules:

A minimum of 20 people is required by May 1st in order to begin the contest but the number of participants will be capped at 40 for management purposes.

This contest is a closed contest and all participants who have  paid the  registration fee of $75 per person  will be included in all discussions relative to the contest and information such as name and standing in the competition will be shared with all participants.

This contest is about Accountability to lifestyle changes proven to assist in promoting a healthier lifestyle and weight.  Participants can choose what diet plan and exercise program to personally follow.  If a participant wants a personalized program designed by the Program Administrator, 25% discount on her services will be given during the duration of the contest.

All participants will have online access to personal exercise and diet journal or if they choose can simply email Program Administrator with their activities for the week. 

All participants will have on-going access to program administrator to ask questions and personal feedback regarding their personal progress. 

Weigh-in and measurements will be taken within one week of the start and finish of the contest.

Contestants will be provided with

This Competition runs from May 1, 2008 thru June 26, 2008.
The person with the greatest number of points overall will win a cash prize of $400.
Second and third place prizes will be awarded ($100/$50 respectively).
Other prizes will be handed out throughout the competition.


Points can be earned in the following manner:

Earn  2 points for every half hour of exercise per day.  (maximum 20 per week)
Earn  4 points for journalling and/or updating your online log per day.
Earn 1 point for every question you ask of Cindy (maximum 3 per week)
Earn 4 points for attending a community Nutrition, Exercise, or Wellness Program.
Earn  4 points for partipating in Group  Weekly  Walk.
Earn 1 point per percent body fat lost
Earn 1 point per percent weight lost
Earn 1 point per inch lost
