While those in Japan who will be playing FFXIII on December 17, North Americans are left to ponder the exact date for their chance, currently scheduled for "Spring 2010." Word has it, however, that Square Enix has put out a casting call for the latest Final Fantasy XII advertisement.
Los Angeles-based Liz Paulson Casting is looking for someone who can read a script for an "exclusive, never before seen look at Final Fantasy XIII." What's worth noting, however, is that the end of the script calls for a big reveal of the release date. Check out the slide below;
Assuming this is real, don't expect to see this ad right away as it will still need to be filmed and the like. While it's possible this could be the big reveal, it's also just as likely that the date will be announced earlier followed by this advertisement later on.

Mythic will be bringing all North American servers offline tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 AM EDT for Patch 1.99f. They anticipate that all servers will be back online no later than 1:30 PM EDT.
Some of the highlights from 1.99f include:
* Implemented server performance improvements to increase responsiveness in high population RvR combat.
* The formula that determines Left Axe weapon damage has been adjusted. Players will see improvements in damage at lower Left Axe specialization values, bringing them in line with other dual wielding specializations.
*There have been several changes to the Mentalist Class!
*Many expansion zones have had their base experience and coin value increased based on the general increase in monster difficulty within these zones.

Turbine has announced today that pre-launch offers for Siege of Mirkwood, the upcoming digital expansion to The Lord of The Rings Online, have been extended to November 18th, 2009.
As part of the pre-launch offers former players who renew their LOTRO subscription, or current subscribers who upgrade their subscription to a multi-month plan on or before November 18th, 2009 will receive Siege of Mirkwood free of charge.

To commemorate the release of the third and final add-on scenario, FFXI introduces the "Nexus Cape," an in-game bonus item for players who have purchased the entire trilogy. All characters under a single player account registered for all three add-ons will be eligible for this gift.
Owners of the Final Fantasy XI ULTIMATE COLLECTION, scheduled for release on November 10, can also shout with glee, as the gift will be available to them also.
Following the release of the next version update, eligible characters may collect their Nexus Cape from the treasure coffer located within the Tenshodo Headquarters in Lower Jeuno.
*The teleportation will be rendered ineffective if the party leader changes areas in the middle of casting. It is recommended that party members communicate their intent to teleport beforehand.
*Characters may teleport only to areas they have previously visited.
*Teleporting to areas introduced in expansions is possible only after installation and code registration have been completed for the expansion pack in question. This does not, however, affect one's eligibility to obtain the Nexus Cape.

Scheduled to release on Wednesday, October 28th, Update One is the first major update To Dungeons and Dragons.Online since Eberron Unlimited went live in September.We can see smaller additions and changes to the game between each major update as well.
The focus of this update is on high level players, and there are plenty of treats in store. One of these special treats is known as Veteran Status. Earned by characters who have garnered at least 1,000 favor, Veteran status allows players to start new characters who will enter the game at level four and begin their adventures in the Stormreach Marketplace, bypassing many of the early low-level quests - and yes, it is retroactive. Players who have not reached 1,000 favor but would like to purchase this status may do so in the DDO Store. This allows players to bring new custom characters easily into the game, and makes it easier to tinker with new builds, particularly multi-class builds.
With Update One also comes a brand new difficulty setting - Epic. Designed to allow players to revisit old favorites redone for the level cap, Epic Dungeons not only allow players to re-experience the challenge of these areas on a newer, harder difficulty designed exclusively for level 20s, but also allow players to gain new, Epic versions of the items that dropped there before.

Just a few months after the faction-change service was alive,the new
World of Warcraft Race Change service is now live. 1,Race Change service is designed to allow existing characters the opportunity to change their designated race while staying in their existing faction (Alliance or Horde);
