Who's the best soccer team?
First off, you cant really say who is better (at the moment) because all three teams arent playing well right now (expect Chelsea). 2nd, they all play in different leagues that determine the type of play that they display on the field....DC United play in the US, which is a more physical type of soccer, while Real Madrid play in Spain where it is more about speed and the final play and Chelsea is in England where passing is key. If all three teams were to play right now, Real Madrid would have the advantage due its club's history of games outside Spain, but DC United and Chelsea has faired well against international teams.
However, DC has just started playing 2 weeks ago, Chelsea is fighting for two championships (League title and European Clubs Cup (a Cup for the best teams in Europe called the "UEFA Champions League")), and Real is trying to maintain their lead as the leaders of the Spainsh soccer league (La Liga). Also, Chelsea and Real havent stopped playing since mid-August and DC stopped on November and just got started practicing in mid-January.
To answer this question, you have to see how has the better history and the better teams. DC is still a kid compared to these two giants from Europe and this is due to the MLS' lack of attention to the American public and money issues. Chelsea just got bigger three years ago after a 50+ year drought of not winning anything (only little tournments) and without "Jose", Im not sure if Chelsea will still be as domanate in the near future unless Drogba stays..
Real Madrid would be the best answer due to their history of titles in Spain, Europe, and in the World Club Cup. Figo, Ronaldo, Zidane, R.Carlos, H.Sanchez, David Beckham, Micheal Owen, Raul, Van Nistelrooy, Robinho, Robbin, and Gago just to name a few of players that Madrid has made their name more famous that they had already become. All time, Real would have a much more stronger team that both Chelsea and United put together.
Answer: Real Madrid (I love all three teams, but this is the best answer)
