I'm so thankful for Kim for presenting this question. It inspires me to achieve my best! 28. How do you see yourself in 10 years? see below
I love this question. Even though I live in the NOW I plan for my future with enthusiasm because I grew up with the notion that I can achieve anything I put my mind to. I see myself with an excellent career in Bilingual Social Work, really making a difference in my community and society. I will be making a steady, GREAT income and can provide for my family for everything we could possibly need and want. Julián will be 10 and I will have an adopted daughter by then. We will be stamping away country after country in our passports. I will be sponsoring so many children in Africa and other third world countries, and even take trips to places like Baranquilla to do volunteer work.
I will have met a wonderful man by then, who will takes trips with us and be a loving family as well. I probably will be working on my Doctorate by then, or possibly phd, either way, going for the Dr. Esperanza title. (no, not a medical doc, rather a graduate degree) I'd have a joint sort of shop or business with my mom, I supply the $$ for her ventures and she can run her own creative business. I will be 36 and no one will stop me from fulfilling a million more dreams! :)
Also, I will be setting up an annual scholarship fund in my community so others may go to school.
