we had a great time at the S - T parade and then at the fireworks at VHHS.

Joe from the No to home depot put me on the opening page of his website !

spent the weekend camping, so it was a nice 4th of July.

What a cute picture Erin! I have been living in the area for almost 13 years and have never seen the parade, Maybe cause half of the time it's cause I worked and didn't want to wait around and want to leave the parking lot before I get locked in, since they block the whole Vons parking lot.

Camp sound like a nice and relaxing time ;) I really need to do that sometime but it doesn't look like it's anytime soon.

We spent the 4th celebrating with my 84 year old Mom.  Since the best viewing of the fireworks from the high school a block away is in Maggie Ho Dog's yard - we turned it into an oasis complete with old country patio furniture....a huge canopy.....some potted succulents.... a watercan turned into a fountain....  Too bad for the Ho Dog..this has now become our private oasis!

The fireworks were great, as were the bbq ribs, corn on the cob, and mixed green salad we had for dinner.

I watched the fireworks from the street in my new hometown of Winnemucca, Nevada.  Standing barefoot on the sidewalk with a cold brew.  As many illegal skyrockets going off as those at the fairgrounds.  However, by 10PM, Winnemucca was quiet and I took a quick swim and went to bed.
