RE:Westin Resort

Sounds like just the kind of place I would stay away from. We stay in Mammoth in the late Spring, Summer, or early fall. The prices are considerably lower. We've been staying at Wildflower Condos within walking distance from the old Ocean's Harvest Restraunt for ten years or more now. We used to stay in Motel 6 and take the dogs with us. But soon discovered we could get a one bedroom condo for about the same price as the Motel 6 and do our own cooking. It meant the dogs couldn't come any more...but oh well. Particularly when we are in Mammoth for a week to ten days...it's nice to have all the comforts of home, particularly on the day you want to relax and not go anywhere in particular. After all these years, though, my son finally realized a friend of his has a condo we can use whenever we want. I don't know which complex his is in, but even if we have to pay him a little bit, it will be even cheaper than staying in Wildflower.
