Wow! That brings back memories! Very early memories. Before my brothers were born from the time I was 6 months old to about 4 years old, we would vacation in El Portal and visit Yosemite. We stayed in the El Portal Motel, and more than likely shopped in that store. I can remember getting comics books there. Last time I was out that way was in 1997 when my Dad died. We took my Mom on a vacation about three months after he died, and stayed in Fish Camp, but we did drive through El Portal.
