The new member of the Wright family, Otis.  Named for Otis Campbell, the town drunk on the Andy Griffith Show.  From the rear, that shaggy white hair, he looks like Einstein, so sometimes I call him Otis Einstein.

Here he is riding in his car bed, hanging in the back seat of my '06 Honda CR-V.  I shot this photo between Big Pine and Independence the other morning, on my way to Ridgecrest to do some business/shopping.

Oh, he keeps us entertained all right!  Even though he's only 10 months old, he's very protective.  He even chased and attacked the neighbor's 3 year old Lhasa Apso (Otis is also a Lhasa Apso) down the main street the other day.  I like to rough him up each evening, wear him out so he sleeps all night and not bother us (Ana insists he sleep on the bed).  I come away bleeding.  He comes away grinning ...
