Her and I had our differences over the past couple of months, but at the end of the day she was a good person at heart. I wish we could have patch things up. Some of us knew her more than others and know that her life was not easy and she had traveled through a lot of adversity, which makes this all the more tragic.
Rest peacefully, "Halee", may you be forever protected in heaven.

Halee, I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I do remember some time ago when I was looking for some contact info for someone, you took the time to respond to me by pm and attempted to assist. I thought, at the time, what a sweetheart you were. Peace be with you.

Halee, It has taken me a few days to get to the point where I could add this thread. I have written, changed, rewritten, so hopefully I will get this for you now. My first post was to you, for you, and about you, so I would like to remember those words again. You and I were the only ones that truly understood what I meant, and probably the depths of these words are only understood by you and I now. Your memory will always be a happy and joyful one with me and it will burn in my heart for quite some time. Your soft words were far more comforting than you knew and our conversations were always to lift each other up. All of us carry our crosses, but few people have time to listen. You did that well. I will always remember how you always had time to say hello. I take solace in knowing that you bask in a more beautiful light than we could imagine. You seemed to know how precious life was, and you made me a better person for it. I don’t ever remember visiting with you when it wasn’t sunny and bright even though the burdens we carry are heavy. The happy parts of your life are easily remembered as easily as the tears have dripped from my eyes. How could I thank you enough for defending me when no one understood my heart. There is a place in it for you and there always will be. You came into and out of my life so quickly. I came back from telling you good bye today, a lot happier than I had thought. I anticipated that it would be difficult, but it was too beautiful to do anything but be lifted up. You cannot be sad when you are high on love, and there was an abundant out-flowing of love for you. I had not imagined what a beautiful picture you could be. You were taken far too quickly and too fast to have been able to plan for the love and respect that was shown for you. No my dear, if you had wanted the memory of you to be a happy one, you will bask in it’s glow until we meet again. If you had wanted a smile to come to my face when I think of you, it’s is the fun things, the happy things, the laughing things, the sunny things that I remember which will grant your wish. I am so glad that you came into my life, and I am glad to know that you made so many others happy by being a part of their life. I hope that you are there to greet me when my journey is through. In the meantime, I pray that you will find a moment to sit on my shoulder in the gentleness of a soft breeze after the rain has washed away my tears. Halee’s service was truly a memorial to her. There were many pictures of happy times, and friends to tell of those times. Halee leaves two little girls that carry her sunshine in their faces. She loved them dearly and I know that she loves them now. Halee’s love will be kept alive in them. Find someone and tell them you appreciate them as a tribute to her. That is the way she would like to be remembered. God has blessed you my dear. Thank you for being my friend. I will pass it on.

The following was supposed to be in my Oct 03 thread, but I left it out. I know that many of you had and have asked questions about what happened. I was fortunate to be told fairly soon after the accident, but it took a long time for me to assimilate what could be passed on so that it was as correct as I could make it. It was also a difficult week for me. Halee was a beautiful but very delicate flower that came into many of our lives. The nectar of a flower last long after the bloom. I did not want anything to be inaccurate but you should understand that this is to the best of my knowledge collected over a period of days while some incorrect information was passed on to us. I anticipated that the service Friday would be tough to get through, but I was wrong.
I went to Halee's service Friday and came away a better person. I felt compelled to go and say goodbye. It was full of friend's that rejoiced in her memory, and truly a tribute to her. I have learned that she was in the front passenger's seat in a car driven by a friend. There was also another person in the rear seat, but I do not know anything about or condition of. The driver lost control of the car and they went off of 17A headed towards Walterboro. The car hit a couple of trees and Halee was lost at the spot on impact.
The driver is still in the hospital and only learned of Halee's death Thursday. His best friend drove into the parking lot and parked next to me, and brought a message to Halee's mother. We all need to remember him due to the burden that he carries. It was a tragic accident, but in Halee's last hours she was among friends. She was not alone and she was happy.
There were so many people there with fond memories, and there were several photo albums out to see. There was a beautiful picture of Halee on an easel that showed a beautiful glow of happiness. Her two girls were dressed in matching dresses and you could see Halee in them.

I just heard about Halee yesterday from a friend. I met her 2 years ago and she was always positive , upbeat and a class act. I am still in disbelief about this as said above she has 2 little girls and was a great mother. I just spoke with her a week and half ago. She called me and ask how I was , we chatted and was going to meet for lunch soon. She seemed happy and had new things going on in her life. I am crushed.. she was beautiful inside and out. I will miss your jokes and laughter sweety. Thanks for everything, it was a pleasure and honor to be your friend.

I saw her only once as a client, but after that as a friend. It seems as though that's who she was, the type that never met a stranger. Should a tradegy not have befallin her, I would have seen her man times. The world is sadder.
