Yesterday Colorado broke a heat record set in
1955 when the temp was 99. Yesterday,
it was 102! I didn't stick my nose out of
the door until late afternoon when I got the
mail, so I spent my day inside, wearing a
sweat suit and with a lap robe covering my
I accomplished almost nothing yesterday, but
today looks like it might be a bit better. I
have one load of laundry folded and another
in the wash. I plan to play with card making
for a bit today, and then I really need to pick
all this stuff up. It doesn't look good.
Kinda nice having it so convenient
Barbara came back yesterday. I haven't seen
her yet, I imagine she is more than busy ~
she is leaving for Niger again in I think three
weeks! Her trip home made me
remember why we stopped flying. I'll post the
last update on "her" link. I'm sure
you'll have to Super Enlarge to see it.
I got about 5 hours of sleep last night, which
actually is pretty good for me. The other
night when Mike had the TV on too loud,
it was entirely my fault that he didn't turn
it down. He fell asleep, really hard, and I
didn't want to disturb him because he hasn't
been feeling great. I certainly should have
asked him, or turned it down myself ~ we
both have "clickers", I just usually defer
to Mike to control it. Dumb of me and he
felt bad when he realized what had
happened. Not his fault ~ mine.
Well, how lovely that your neighbors
"entertained" for you. Sheesh! Did
Chris ever clean without charging for
the time when she got paid but didn't clean?
Sorry you have to close everything off
to keep their noise down, but maybe it's
better for you to have the AC on while
you are trying to heal from the rash. How
I "hear" you about the Benadryl. In the
hospital I was really out of it at first
when they had me on that drip and other
things, but when I was back at home after
a while I had a rough night sleeping and
took two Benadryl. BAD idea. LOL It's
a wonder I woke up at all. ha. One
does the trick pretty well, but if I take
it for maybe three nights, it becomes
ineffective, so I try not to take it often.
No, you didn't really miss anything with
Rizzoli and Isles about "Alice". She
sort of came out of nowhere and we
were supposed to have an aHa moment, I
guess, but since we didn't know anything
about her before, our reaction was more
Oh, I hope Amazon has the Harry Potter
movies for you to binge on. How fun!
We do that periodically, and as often
as not it's via Netflix. Mike just checked
for me, and it's a $3 rental on Amazon. I
swear, they are getting worse and worse.
You supposedly get free movies, but you
have to pay for anything you want to see,
and you are supposed to have two day free
shipping, but as often as not, it's 4 or 5
day shipping. Rip. Off! I don't
know what your cable company is, but Xfinity
just put three of them out there on
onDemand for free.
Love you back! Have a great day!
