Welcome to February!

Look at YOU, Lou Ann!  Just out of the hospital and still putting up a beautiful Sign In Page for us!   Thank you so much!

I don't think any Rescued Rabbit we adopted would be happy in our house, and here in Colorado it's been Marijuana Awareness Month for quite some time ~ lol     Is there a difference between Spunky Old Broads and Cuppa Gals?

I hope you are feeling and breathing better ~ and that you are declaring a week of Poor Baby Days, too.  You certainly deserve them more than I do.  Everyone needs to pamper you!

smiley13

We got maybe 4 more inches of snow overnight.  The walk and driveway had been shoveled and was fairly dry around 4:30.  Then 10 or 15 minutes later when Mike went out to get the mail he said that some sleet-like stuff stung his skin.   By this morning, this is what it looked like.

Temps are below freezing and likely to remain so for a few days.

Should I take another Poor Baby Day today?  I don't need it, but who knows when the opportunity will come again?  LOL   It still "twinges" a bit when I eat and swallow some of the time, but not too much.   I haven't even had a pain pill today.

I got a notice of an email that was rejected this morning.  It appeared to have been sent by me, another of those advertising links, but of course I hadn't sent it.  The To: space had several names from my address book, so I went into full panic mode.  I haven't heard from anyone else and Mike didn't get one, so maybe it was some kind of a leftover from yesterday.  In any case, we ran the Malware Program and found several things that needed to be cleaned, then ran my regular virus software and found nothing, then ran the Malware again and found nothing.  Next we changed my password to something more convoluted than we had changed it to yesterday (I'll never remember it!), and Mike checked to see any activity on my account and found nothing "hinkey".  (He had found a few attempts to access HIS account with the wrong password from the Ukrane!)    Anyway, I think (hope) I'm as secure as I can be.

If you get any funny (as in not amusing!) email from me, let me know!

I put a load of towels into the wash and they are ready to go to the dryer now.  No other exciting plans for today, except that Mike is going to make my favorite breakfast ~ cheesy scrambled eggs in a croissant.  YUM.

Have a happy day!

Wow, things are really slow going.  I do not feel that I am progressing and maybe even regressing some with being wheezy and having issues breathing easily.  But we will see.  I cannot cough anything out or up as there is just not enough breath.  I cannot believe they did not send me home with nebulizer treatments.  I think I need them.  So I am weaker than I like so it is going to take me a while to catch up all around in my groups, etc and to make the skin.  But I will get to it in the next week.
Dorothy, I have made this tag as a font challenge in my CDO group.  It is a calendar font and I had to learn to work with it.  But it was fun.  I have over 700 emails in that group and have not begun sifting through them.  And the 100s of others I have, lol.  Heart is just not into it yet.  I am tired all the time yet.  But this too shall pass.  My sister Suz is having a wretched week.  First her washing machine broke down, then her wallet was stolen at church, then I went in the hosp. (I made her list), then the transmission blew on the van and then the laptop she uses shut down and will not come up.  I feel so bad for her, but they are dealing with it all the best they can.  I have told her to get the laptop to our computer guy and get an estimate on if it can be repaired and how much, and I would help her.  I will get the money back one way or another as I did with what she owed me for Christmas.  I am just not paying my phone bill to her until all the money is deducted.  I pay $10 a month and right now do not owe until October, lol.  I am also lending her my back up lappy until hers is repaired, but asked her to be gentle with it, lol.  Well, guess I am going to go tackle some of that.
Chat with you tomorrow.
Hugs,

Groundhog's Day

Groundhog photo: Maxine Groundhog Day Maxine0096.gif

We're still getting snow and really cold temps.  Every time they clear the pavement, we get another dusting of snow.  I'm not sure this time it's deep enough for them to shovel.  Drat!  Now I have to hope for more snow!  It's not supposed to snow today, but it is tomorrow and Tuesday and be in the teens.  Brrrr.

We had a nice lazy day and still got a few things done which was nice.    My mouth only hurts when I eat some things and swallow.  Feels much better, but doesn't look good.  The area behind where "the thing" was cut out is really yukky looking.  It may have always looked that way and I just couldn't see it.  Surgeon said "the thing" didn't appear to have deep roots, which he seemed to feel was a good thing, but he didn't mention the ugly white blobby spot behind where "the thing" was.  I'm just a wee bit nervous about it, so if you have a prayer to spare, I'd appreciate it.   Cancer there would, I think, not be a good thing.

Superbowl today!  I'm not usually much of a "fan", but of course I hope the Bronco's win.

Go Broncos!

Lou Ann, I LOVE the tag!  I won't ask, but I wouldn't hate having one like it.
OMG, you are in worse shape than I am with your email inbox!  I get buried, and I DON'T belong to any groups!

Poor Suz!  She must feel like she is under siege.  I hope things turn around for her soon.

Take very good care of yourself, and HEAL!   Please don't worry about the new skin or anything but taking care of yourself and getting well.

RE:WELCOME TO FEBRUARY SIGN IN
(Date Posted:02/03/2014 9:06 AM)

 Gooood Morning

Ah, there is no joy in Mudville.  Mighty Manning has struck out.    Watching the Broncos being slaughtered by the Seahawks was painful, so we watched a Jesse Stone movie and kept flipping back to peek from behind our hands.  The Broncos had a great season and I'm really sorry they lost ~ and so badly ~ but I think they can still hold their heads up.  Same may not be true for many of my neighbors who are passionate fans.  If we were living in Nebraska, the flags would be flying at half staff.

We had a Jesse Stone-a-thon over the last two days.  One more to go.  I'm SO sorry they stopped making those movies.  I guess they don't appeal to the right demographic  (boys under 43?)  Sad.

We ordered Indian Carry-out "very mild" and it was too hot for me to eat, so Mike has a LOT of left overs.  It's too bad because the first time we ordered from that place it was a bit warmer than I like, but still good.  Now I won't ever order from them again, so that means that Mike probably won't either.  They've lost business and we've lost a carry-out restaurant, just because they wouldn't follow instructions.  Bizarely, they included an order of French Fries and one of Yogurt that we didn't order.  Must have been too busy in the kitchen.   Ah, well.

I still haven't found my cell phone, so I think I'm going to go and get a new one today.  I'm actually considering getting a Smart Phone (don't faint!).  I still won't use it to talk anymore than I do today, and I can't imagine that I'll start texting, but my logic is this.  Mike has a Dumb Phone that hangs off of our niece in Omaha's service so we can help her pay her bill.  He really doesn't use the phone much more than I do ~ he talks to his sister every Sunday morning and makes call out orders.  Aside from that, we use the phones in case of emergency, or when we are separated.   He does, however, practically live on his iPad Mini and/or his iPod.  Out of the range of our home WiFi, he can use them to read a book or play music or (I think) games, but he can't get online.   If I had a Smart Phone, it would give him a Hot Spot he could use with his iPad or iPod when he waits for me in the car.  I could take his Cell to call him with if I needed.

My friend Judy tells me I will use it more than I think.  She got it to text her nieces because she thought otherwise she'd never hear from them, but tells me she uses it even more for "old people" like us.  Of course she is one of those folks who has her phone surgically attached to her ear ~ lol    Anyway, I'll look into it today, I think.

Oh, my.  I've become a regular chatterbox!   Sorry 'bout that!

 Have a great day!

Dorothy, I do not have a smart phone either and not sure if I would use it enough to warrant it.  But the fact that Mike can use it while waiting on you makes it a great idea in my opinion.  I am sorry the Broncos lost.  Especially by such an overwhelming amount, that had to be hard for fans to take.
I wish I could get you that tag, but I did not make it and cannot.  Creators randomly gift their tags...though if I can figure out which one made it I will ask, lol.  I just do not know everyone is the group.  But I can go to the data base and see who matches up to the CDO license number.  So we will see.
I have done no creating since getting out of the hospital and I have for the moment lost all heart for it.  My mod for the plugin lessons was in the hospital too.  She has lung cancer and cardiomyopathy.  She is on hospice.  I did not know any of this and it just hurts to know that she is trying to help me through these plugins and is dying.  I am not comfortable with knowing how much I can ask her without intruding.  So very sad.  I have to go for INR at 4pm and am not looking forward to it.  So damn hard....stupid push cart oxygen.  How am I supposed to get up and down the steps with that?  Sucks.  I just feel tired and weak.  I wish my own doctor was available to talk to.  Someone who knows me.  Oh well, this too shall pass, right?  I am continuing to pray for you and your poor little tongue.  Take care of you.
Hugs,

Lou Ann, please don't give that tag another thought.  I misread and thought it was one you had made.  I have so many lovely tags you have made me, I will very happily content myself with stealing another of your lovely borders.

I can only imagine how hard lugging the oxygen in a cart is, and especially if/when you are using your WC.   Any hope of getting the little portable Oxygen tanks?  That wouldn't be a whole lot easier, but some I would think.   I can't believe they sent you home without a nebulizer either.   Can you talk to your Dr and see if he can get you some help?

Thank you SO much for your prayers!   I have  my follow-up appointment next Monday, and because of the way the area behind where the surgery was looks, I've been getting nervous.   Great news ~~ that sweet little Dr Palitano called while we were out this afternoon and left word, saying that the results were back and The Thing is benign!   I'm so relieved.   He said these don't usually grow back, but he didn't say what it was.  I'll have to wait until the 10th to find out, but I don't care.  Whatever it is, it's benign!

We did go to the Verizon store this afternoon ~~ what a long, hard day!   First, lots of people there and we had a long wait.  Mike stood while I sat because he wasn't sure he could get up from the bench.  By the time we were getting the purchase done, he was wiped out ~ then we remembered it was time for his Parkinson's pills.  I asked for a glass of water and I always carry them with me, so we could at least take care of that.

I explained why I was considering upgrading to a Smart Phone, and the kid helping me pointed me toward a couple that were reasonably priced and would do the trick.  He could be my dental hygenist (Motor Mouth Marsha)s brother.  Such a torrent of words pouring over me!  I thought I understood everything and he answered all my questions but so much information ~ and now I can't figure out how to make half of the things he showed me work!   Anyway I got a iPhone 5C with unlimited minutes and text (as if I will use either) and 2G of monthly data usage.  Again, as if!   So as we were wrapping up I asked him to show me how to use the mobile Hot Spot for Mike to use his devices while he waits for me in the car.   We had discussed this at the beginning.  He poked around a bit then disappeared.  Came back and said I can't use Hot Spots without paying a $30 charge for each use!   Or I could buy a (something or other) and pay $30, or I could buy a Share Everything plan for $100 instead of the $60 (plus all the assorted taxes and fees).  I was angry, but (now the truth comes out) he was new and got mixed up on my less expensive plan and the Share Everything plan they've been pushing.  I could go back to a plain old Dumb Phone if I'd like or keep the one I just bought without the Hot Spots.  (As if I didn't realize that.  snarl)   I decided (though Lord only knows why) to keep the new phone, and now I'm trying to figure out how to use it.  LOL.   I'm sure I won't talk on the phone anymore than I had before, and we'll see about texting.  Not unless I can make the keyboard larger!

I'm really pooped, but I don't have cancer!

DJB

Hello Dorothy

Great news!!!  I feel so much lighter as I am more than sure you do.  I am so glad the doctor called and told you and did not make you wait till the appt.  He is a winner in my book.  Wow, just wow.  I cannot believe how you were hooked into that whole hot spot thing and then it was wrong.  They should have cut you some sort of deal since that was your intent from the start and it was their screw up.  I am not as forgiving toward the newbie as you are.  It ticks me off that his confusion cost you what you wanted...the jerk.

I went for my INR and we cheated and took one of my moms small tanks, lol.  So that went ok.  My INR was 2.2, a little on the low side.  But they kept the dose the same and recheck on Thur but I can just go to the lab.

I just have no energy.  I am lucky to get through my email, read a bit on Facebook, play minimal amount on games.  I just am tired.  I need a spark or something to get me going.  Tomorrow I will pay bills.  I should have done it today.  Maybe I will yet.  I better, just realized it is the 4th already.  So guess I am off to do bills.

Hugs,

http://images109.fotki.com/v128/file0oeO/c2af1/5/514315/9438237/Animation107HappyValday.gif

Good Morning and Brrrrrr.    It's 8 degrees BELOW zero as we speak, and when there is wind, we have a 20 - 25 degree below zero wind chill.   (I'll wait for Shiela to get a sweater after reading this).  I do believe we'll be staying inside today, perhaps with a cup of hot chocolate in front of the fire later.   Right now we're having Godiva Caramel Coffee and it's really good, not so much 'carmel' flavored as just rich and good.    It snowed all day yesterday.  I don't know how much snow we got, but the walks have been cleared several times already.

I spent yesterday trying to figure out the SmarterThanIAm Phone.  I made some progress, but not enough.  I can take pictures and email them ~ maybe ~ and make the keyboard a bit bigger and turn it on it's side to make it bigger yet so I can text.  I did some things by accident so I'm not sure I can do them again.  lol  I still have 12 days to decide to take it back and get a Dumb Phone if I want to, so I'm spending more time playing with it than I really want to.    I got soooo frustrated.  Not the nicest way to spend the day.   Ha.  Still, SOME progress was made.

What I can do on the new phone, so far:  I can phone, text, take pictures, email, go on Facebook and Twitter.   I haven't tried to get on the group from there, but from my iPad I can read but not post, or at least not in a way that I want to, so I'm expecting the same thing on my cell.  I'd hate to write a long post on that teeny tiny keyboard, and of course I wouldn't have my pictures or graphics available.  I doubt I could copy a border, either.    I can see how many people really like the Smart phones.  We'll see if I do ~~ within the next 12 days.

Did you all see on the news yesterday about the hostage situation here in Arvada?   A Parolee broke into a house and took three people hostage.  Later he let the parents go but kept the 14 year old boy hostage.  Later the police were bringing food to him and a Swat team member shot and killed him.  I can't imagine how that boy will get beyond this.
smiley12

Lou Ann, you have no idea.  Because of the area where "The Thing" was at the base and side of my tongue, I had worked up some real worry about how it could be treated if it were malignant.   Whew!   Weight of the world.  The area where the biopsy was done is more uncomfortable now than it was before and the area behind it looks weird ~~ but because I know what I know now, I have no worries about it.  Lovely feeling.

I'm glad your INR was still within range.  Mine had been rock steady forever, and then suddenly it went crazy ~ 3.4 to 3.9 for three times (six weeks) then on the lowered dosage, it got down to 1.9 right before the biopsy.  We increased the dosage so I take 1/2 a pill twice a week, and I'm hoping that will steady things out.

I can understand your having no energy after all you've been through, PLUS not getting enough oxygen.  Give yourself time to heal and don't make demands on yourself until you are feeling better.   I'm glad you could borrow your mom's smaller oxygen tank to go for your blood test.

Mary Ann, great to see you!
OhMyGosh, poor Ann!

Oh, I didn't realize you were alergic to cats.  How miserable for you if/when you have to stay with Ann.  You may just have to say no the next time, though I know how hard that is for you.  You can't risk getting sick yourself.

I hope your Drs visit goes well.  Stay healthy, please!!

Happy Hump Day!

Hello ladies!!
Yay, Mary Ann, it is so good to see you here.
Poor Ann, how awful for her.  I hope the person that
hit her has good insurance.  She needs to pay for
everything including a new $5000.00 bike!  Next time
you feel you have to be at Ann's with a cat you had
better get an allergy shot before going.
Good luck with the smart phone Dorothy.  You need
someone who knows what they are doing showing you the ropes.  My friends do so much with theirs.  Have you asked Sari anything...it is too funny.  Speak into the phone, say "Sari" to get her attention and then ask.  We had so much fun with that.  Ask her to tell you a joke or make a dirty suggestion, it is too funny.  You know it will work as one of those find where you want to go things, lol.  Cannot recall the name...major brain fart!
Still not up to par but am now getting out tan gunk so
maybe am on the road now :)  I hope so.
I think I will go work on the skin and get my mojo going.  So if you see a new one, then you know I got revved up, lol.
Hugs,

RE:WELCOME TO FEBRUARY SIGN IN
(Date Posted:02/06/2014 10:00 AM)

It's another balmy day in Colorado.  We should reach a HIGH of 14, but it's currently 9 below zero!  While our walk and drive have been shoveled, below zero temps put frost on the pumpkin, so last night Mike put the garbage bags from the trash bin into a trash BAG and put it in the car, and drove down to the curb and put it out.  Hey, ya do whatever it takes.  ha.

I really hate thinking of all the animals who are outside.   We, on the other hand, stayed nice and warm and toasty inside.     More frustration trying to learn to use the new cell phone ~~ why do I DO this to myself?!?

Then late last night I found a link to literally hundreds of YouTube How-To Videos on how to use various features of the 5C, and then various cell phones in general!   I don't have to go to the classes at Verizon, I can just stay in my easy chair and watch videos!   We were watching TV so I had the sound turned off, but even so I learned how to zoom my camera for a close up (which is something that should have been intuitively obvious to me, but wasn't).  I have a lot of work ahead of me to become proficient, but the tools are there if I want to use them.  Yay.

I also spent way too much time looking for a ring tone ~ there are over 8,000 of them free.   You can see I no longer have a life.  Ha!   I have had the theme from X-Files forever, but apparently it didn't carry over to this phone.  Haven't decided yet whether to go with that again, or maybe the theme from Harry Potter or Titanic or . . . .  :^)

One of the features of having any cell phone on our service is that if we are out and the phone rings at home, it also rings my cell.  Nice feature in the past because as you know, I never had my cell turned on unless I was going to use it or was expecting a call.  Now, it's apparently turned on all the time, so every time our land line rings, so does my cell.  Most of the calls we get are surveys or solicitations or assorted crap and we check caller id and ignore them.  Ringing my cell also now is problematic.  I may have to turn that feature off, or maybe when I change my ring tone I'll be able to tell whether it's an overflow call from my land line or something actually coming into my cell (which is highly unlikely cuz nobody has the number but Mike right now.  lol  Oh ~ and he gave it to his sister.  Ut-oh.  Ha!)

Ok, ok.  Way TMI.   I figure you could just ignore all this if you want to.  I'll certainly understand.

One fun thing yesterday was that both cats were asleep on the couch ~ they almost never curl up anywhere near each other.  I would have had to get up, go to the front room to get my camera, come back and take their pictures if I wanted it ~~ and one or both of them would have moved as soon as I got up.  BUT . . I had the cell sitting next to me, so I just snapped a couple of pictures.  It was into the sun so they were bad, but I emailed them to myself and made one a little better in PSP.

Sooo, something good from the new cell.  Kinda.

Oooh, Lou Ann!   What a beautiful February skin!  I hope you didn't tire yourself too much doing it for us, but it's absolutely lovely.  Thank you so much!

Yes ~ I'm crazy about Siri.  It kind of freaked me out when she knew my name and I hadn't even introduced myself to her, but I guess it's fair since I knew her name, too.  lol   I keep asking her things she doesn't know, but I'll learn.   I haven't tried asking for a reminder yet, but maybe I'll do that next.  She has given me recipes and lists of Indian restaurants in Arvada and snow predictions ~~ but no snow "history", as in "How much did it snow yesterday".  Ha.   Definitely kewl.

I also haven't asked for directions from here because I haven't given permission for the phone to have my location (not that they really need my permission, but they pretend they do.  They should just ask NSA.  Ha)
Have a Terrific Thursday, All.

RE:WELCOME TO FEBRUARY SIGN IN
(Date Posted:02/07/2014 8:29 AM)

Good Morning.

We made it through another week.   If the Weather Folk are right (seldom if ever) we should reach the 40s today!  Yesterday morning it was 19 degrees BELOW ZERO.   Right this minute, it's 2 degrees below zero.

The Saga of the Smart Phone continues, but I am learning more ~ if I can just remember what I learned.  It's like having a full time job!   I did find that I can get into the group and not only read but post from my cell ~ not that I'd want to do that very often.  No graphics and I didn't even try to copy a border, and of course too challenging to type a long message on the wee little keyboard, but still in an "emergency" . . .

I also used the flashlight on the cell last night when I left the front room after dark to come back to the Man Cave.  Usually when I turn the TV off I have to turn a light on to gather my stuff, close the TV cabinet and walk to and down the hall.  Last night I just turned the flash light on and let it point toward the ceiling while I did what I needed to do, than picked it up to see to get out of the room and down the hall without worry of tripping over a cat.

Aside with pharting around with the phone, visiting with Mike's sister and folding a load of laundry, I didn't really do anything.    How 'bout you all?   Are you all watching the Olympics?   We didn't last night but I'm sure we will watch the Opening Ceremony tonight.

Last night we watched Downton Abby, which we had missed, and then a new show on Amazon Prime that James Patterson told me about (via Facebook ~ lol)  It's called Bosch, and it's based on the main character of Michael Connelly's books.  I haven't read the Bosch books, but I have met Michael Connelly and he was so sweet you could spread him on bread.  Show was ok.  May take a while to get into the characters.

Then we watched a new-to-us one downloaded from Acorn called "The Fall".  It's five episodes long and last night was the fourth episode.  Very intense, set in Northern Ireland and starring Gillian Anderson (with an accent).  You could see "Scully" if you looked closely, but she has matured, and really looks good.  She is the cop (Supervising Inspector) and the bad guy is a Serial killer ~ with a wife and two kids.  Probably not for everyone, but very well done.  I understand they have a second season coming out.

My hairdresser, Sharyl, is in the hospital and I don't know what for.  She posted on Facebook that she had been there for a week and was in the ICU.  Doesn't that seem funny to be in the ICU and posting on Facebook?  What a world we live in.  She has diabetes and is just skin and bones.  When I first met her she was overweight and we were both on Atkins.  Now I am gargantuan and she looks like she just escaped from Auschwitz.  Anyway, when I had my hair done she was having some problems and trying to ignore them, but now I can't find out what happened.  I hate to call and make her talk to me.  I'm know where she is so if I can find out how much longer she will be in I will at least send flowers.  She's a good kid and diabetes is a hateful disease.

RE:WELCOME TO FEBRUARY SIGN IN
(Date Posted:02/07/2014 1:13 PM)

The below zero windchill continues.  This is the coldest winter I can remember.  I sure am glad that I do not have to go out much.  Went out yesterday for INR...too low.  Stupid me ate asparagus the night before.  So a boost in dose last night and then continue the same.  Recheck on Monday when I go to see the doctor.  No asparagus in between.  I think she should have been more specific, because we ordered out chicken last night and I ate cole slaw.  Then I remembered that cabbage is just as bad as dark greens.  I am so tempted to take another boost, but will not.  Just shame on me.  Still tired and no energy.  Will see what the doctor says on Monday.  Just do not know what to think.
Dorothy, looks like you will find all kinds of uses for your smart phone.  I'll best very few people take them back once they start playing with them and find so many things they can do.  There are so many just silly fun apps.  So how are all the babies doing?  Finnian took 2nd place in a radio station baby contest.  Not sure if he won anything.  I know 1st was some sort of money for school.  He and his parents bought a new house and moved just before Christmas.  I love the look of the house from the outside...it is very old and was a carriage house or something like that.  They did a really cute mural on Finn's wall that I will share here.

Here is a recent shot of Finn

And they finally made the announcement and told him that he was going to go see Micky and Minnie Mouse or as he says it Mo and Mimmi Mouse, lol.

Hope all are staying warm.
Hugs,

RE:WELCOME TO FEBRUARY SIGN IN
(Date Posted:02/08/2014 10:36 AM)

Hello
We're heading for a high in the mid 40s today.  Won't know how to act!  Mike wants to pick up some groceries and go to the Bonefish for lunch, since we haven't been out in days.

I/We spent much of yesterday working on/playing with/learning the new phone.  It's like having a JOB!  We spent easily two hours, the two of us, trying to get my contacts list straightened out.  It appears they got it from my Facebook site so the contacts had email addresses but not phone numbers and other things that were not as I would want them to be.  It took time, but I could fix most of that myself, but MY name couldn't be deleted or edited and we both spent way too much time trying to fix that.  It had my profile picture of Chrystie and my birth date of 1905 and other things that reflect my attempt to not share to much information with people I don't know.  See how effective?  Ha.  I thought if someone found my phone and realized that I am 109 years old, they might think I'm vulnerable and come and try to take advantage of me!   FINALLY, we figured out how to put in a new "Me" contact with minimal information and delete the stolen-from-Facebook one.  Way too much time wasted.

I also found how to delete cities I'm not interested in from the Weather site and add those I do care about, Mike put The Theme From Harry Potter in as my ring tone, I figured out several other tricks including moving icons to a different page and closing open pages to save battery life.  I also found that when I have the phone "turned off", I will still get email or text messages, but phone calls will go straight to my voice mail, so I'm basically back to having it like my old phone, but with the additon of some features that I actually like.   Hmmmm.  This may work out ok after all!   I figure I'm now almost up to the knowledge level of the average 5 year old.

I got a note on Facebook from Sharyl (my hairdresser) letting me know that she had been in the hospital for TWO WEEKS and would likely still be there for a few more days.  She doesn't answer email and I didn't want to call her and make her talk to me, so Facebook was "it".  She said there was too much to tell about on Face book ~~~ I can imagine!   I did send flowers and a little "hugs" bear at least, but way later than I should have.  I just didn't know how long she would be there.  Poor kid.

Lou Ann, thank you sooo much for my wonderful tag!   It's just beautiful.  As you see, I "appropriated" your border, too!

I'm sorry your INR numbers were too low.  You know what caused and how to fix it, though, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Finn is completely adorable, and no surprise that he won.  I hope he won a 'real' prize.   OhMyGosh, that mural!  It's completely awesome!  Did they do it, or hire someone to do it.  It's amazing!   I'm so glad you shared the pictures!

Make it a great day!
