RE:WELCOME TO APRIL CHAT
(Date Posted:04/07/2015 11:31 PM)

Here I am. Mom and I are both doing better today. But we both have been sleeping off and on all day. I do not know if it is because I took 1 Tylenol with codeine and 1 extra strength Tylenol this morning and nothing since yet I cannot stay awake for the life of me. We both took it easy today. Chris and Scott brought us over supper again...this time turkey, mashed potatoes and a peas and carrots mix. It was good. So we still have ham for tomorrow night so that is 3 nights in a row no cooking. Both Joanne and Suzanne have been calling to check up on us. I have pigged my way through the Easter basket and now I have to behave myself.

We had a brief thunderstorm tonight with lightning and thunder...I loved it but it was way too short. Came and went before you could really enjoy it.

I love seeing your daffodils grow and bloom. Thanks for sharing with me. They are beautiful. I also meant to tell you I love your Peter Rabbit cake and that you got a Beatrix Potter book for yourself. We used to have a series of her books here, but I think they all got donated to ARC. I love her art work. I remember one being about Jemima Puddleduck. I think, lol And one was about a mouse. It has been a while. We used to read them to Josh and Jason and they are 16 and 18 now.  Just had to share a couple more pics.  This cute one of Sailer and then the ones of Sailer and Samuel. They could not be cuter. Looks like he is telling her a secret, lol.

They are so adorable.  No tags tonight.  I did not make any today.

Hugs,

Good Morning.

Haven't decided what to do today.  We had talked about going out for dinner tonight, but I'm thinking I might prefer to stay in and go out tomorrow. We'll see what Mike thinks.  Still no help or responses on the Cleaning Lady front.  We can always call one of the big firms for a one time clean I guess, but I really don't want to.    We vacuumed and washed the wood floors last night.  We'll keep going on inch by inch.

I "appropriated" your beautiful pansy background to make a tile for this border ~~ hope you don't mind.   I used to be able to do that all the time when I saw a background I really liked, then suddenly I couldn't.  The lightbulb went off over my head last night ~~ I can't do it using Chrome, but I can using IE.

Clearly you needed sleep after your awful day, and I'm glad you got it!

What great neighbors Chris and Scott are ~~ enough to let you tolerate most of their drinking.   (I did say most. Ha)

The pictures are WONDERFUL ~~~ both the Photography and the subjects!   I love seeing them!

As you can see, I am well supplied with beautiful Lou Ann Tags.

Have a Happy quiet, pain-free Day!

Of course I do not mind you making a tile. Any time you want any of my tiles, just let me know. Maybe i will make a seamless tile thread with the tile threads we already have. When I find the time, lol.

Today was better for both of us. Very little pain for either of us. Mom is all but gone. Mine is not acting up because I am not doing anything. Tomorrow I am going to do some things an we will see how it goes. Hopefully it will be better.

I forgot to tell you that mom ended up with the same technician for her ultrasound as I did. She found out that he was Romanian. She is more of a chatter than I am, lol. She and Suz will talk to anyone, anytime...it is nice but at times very annoying. You go out somewhere with Suz and she is stopping and talking to someone every few minutes. It takes hours to get anything done.

Tomorrow first thing I have to tackle moms checkbook and it will be a mess since she has tried to make it balance at least 3-4 times. I wish she would just let me do it from the start.  Then we would not go through all this. She gets so mad. It is another loss of independence that she can not let go of. I have asked, but she still goes at it every time it comes. I was tempted to switch her to paperless and then I would be the one balancing it...but I know that would hurt her feelings if I did it. One of these days it is going to happen. I hate it when she throws fits.

I hope you hear from Marcela soon. It is worrisome that she has not gotten back to you.  Maybe you do need to go with a company that would be more dependable. But it is a pain having a middle man and knowing that the company makes a lot of money from these people. Have you tried asking your neighborhood group if any of them could recommend a house cleaner.

Well it is time to shut down the computer and relax in preparation of sleep, lol. Todays tag was a tutorial challenge. It looks nothing like the original as I used a different kit and tube.

Hugs,

RE:WELCOME TO APRIL CHAT
(Date Posted:04/09/2015 8:55 AM)

Good Morning.

Little by little the house is getting clean, and I think in some instances cleaner than the Professionals leave it.  Still we (and particularly me) are so slow it will take us a week to put it back to rights.   I do 10 minutes and then sit down.  Pathetic.  LOL

No luck yet finding someone, but we will.  We will.

The HOA Amendment didn't pass!  We voted 'No', but still I'm surprised.  It almost passed before and I thought most folks would just go along.   Barb went to the combined Landscape and Architectural Committee meeting and "got the dirt", which she shared.  One of the questions/complaints several of us had was that if we want to make a change to the landscaping we had to submit it to the LRC and if they approved they would submit it to the ARC for final approval.  Why? we asked. It would just delay things getting done.  Apparently they are going to combine the two committees so that will resolve that issue.

Another change the HOA  made is that now all shrubs and trees that have been approved will be maintained by the HOA except for xeriscaping and rose bushes.  I think that will have to be further addressed, but for now it seems like a good clarification.  We have no xericaping in the neighborhood yet, but we do have rose bushes that have been in since the houses were originally landscaped.   We have always had the option of not letting the landscapers trim any bushes we didn't want trimmed, and if I had rose bushes I sure wouldn't want them to come with a buzz saw and trim them, but maybe some have.     Not my Circus, not my moneys.  ;-)

The remaining issue is lawn ornamentation and they will address that within the month.  I can't believe they won't say, as an earlier rider had stated, that nothing has to be approved but if anyone has a problem with your lawn ornament or decoration they should take it up with you  and if you can't resolve the dispute it will be negotiated by the ARC/LRC and if not settled there, then the Board will have the final say.   That seems reasonable.  Otherwise I could have to ask permission to put a seasonal wreath up or plant petunias in our pots, and some committee members would have to take up all requests for every little thing.  Burden for the Homeowners, and I would think an even worse burden for the volunteers on the committee.

Anyway, it seems like we won a round, and I do think that's great!   Score one for Common Sense!   Way more information than you could possibly want?  lol

Wonderful to hear that you and your mom both are not having pain ~ at least for now.  That kind of pain is exhausting and builds upon itself.  Thank God you got some relief!

How fun that your mom and Suz never met anyone who wasn't a friend. ;-)  I tend to be chatty, but Marcela worked for us for over a year before I finally asked her where she was from.  (She's from the Czech Republic).  I'm so bad with accents.  Mike had it narrowed down to the general region.  I tend to be uncomfortable asking "personal" questions, though 'Where are you from' is hardly anything I should be afraid to ask.  lol

Oooh, time for the Checkbook Balancing act.  Good luck!   I do understand your mom hating to lose more of her independence.  I need to tackle the Dread Budget Book, but I've been spinning my wheels working on trying to find a cleaning lady and other "fun" things and putting that off .  Again.

Another lovely tag!  Thank you!!

Have a great day.

Hello Dorothy
Mom is better and I am at a stand still.  I do not hurt much when just sitting and not getting the pain down into my knee and ankle.  But the hip itself hurts greatly when I am up on it and when I am sitting upright. That is probably because it is not nerve pain in the hip, it is arthritis.
I really do not like that you have not heard anything from Marcela.  Even if she were in the hospital she could text you. It is just plain rude not to respond. So unless she is on a respirator she has no excuse!
Wow, what a lot of run around with the homeowners ass. (and I mean that is the nicest way, lol.)  So if a neighbor hates the color of your flowers or your elephant topiary they can complain? Or is you put a nativity a muslim neighbor can complain?  Ridiculous.  Your home and grounds are yours.  I really hate homeowners ass's.
We have had several small thunderstorms go through this evening.  I see Illinois had a honkin big tornado go through.
Glad we did not have that kind of weather.
Mom is losing her mind.  I did her checkbook first thing this morning and there was nothing wrong with it. Her checkbook balance matched up to the statement balance.  I think she had messes around with numbers so much that she was looking at wrong totals.  But everything was fine.  That was a relief.  Usually takes me several hours at least to figure out what she has done.
No new tags today, I ran out of time.

RE:WELCOME TO APRIL CHAT
(Date Posted:04/10/2015 7:27 AM)

Good Morning!

I woke up a little after 4AM, laid in bed trying to go back to sleep until 5, then gave up and grabbed my laptop and came to the Morning Room.   I did fall asleep before midnight so this isn't the worst night's sleep I've had but I sure wish I could have slept longer.

There is hope in the Cleaning Lady Search.  I put out a message to the neighborhood and got 4 responses with the names of Cleaning Ladies my neighbors are using.  I'm going to call one today who told Sherri that she was hoping to add to her client base.  She cleans for four houses in the neighborhood already.  If she doesn't work out I have three other names.   I am going to ask her to clean one time and then if she can come at a time that is good for us and doesn't charge the national debt, and most importantly does a good job, I'll ask her to come every other week.   Of course she might not want to accept us, so nothing is certain.  Not everyone wants to work in a house that has cats ~~ and particularly our two.  ha.    Still haven't heard from Marcela.

Shogun's new "trick" is to sit on the Powder Room counter and wait until we turn on the water, then attack it!  He bats that stream with his paw as if attacking an enemy ~ too funny.  The down side is that now he LIVES in the Powder Room, laying on the toilet tank top until someone comes in to 'hopefully' release the Water Monster for  him to play with.       I told Mike if he starts that in the kitchen sink I will kill both of them.   His folks cat used to drink from the kitchen faucet and that's positively cringe worthy to me.  Bad enough to have a cat on the counter or kitchen table.  smiley70

I'm so glad your mom is really doing better AND that she did her checkbook right, even if she didn't think she had!   Nice for you not to have to spend hours fixing it!

I'm glad your pain is not as bad, but I hope you can get on top of the hip pain too.  I'd say take aspirin, the wonder drug, but I do know why I shouldn't do that either and I'm not on nearly as much medication as you are.  Hopefully there is some other safer nsaid they can prescribe for you.

We never had an HOA until we moved here, and I hated the idea.  I actually trust my neighbors not to do things that will make our property lose value.  I've never lived next to someone who wasn't basically like we are, and put junk cars in the front yard or painted their house purple with pink poca-dots (the types of things those who love HOA seem to fear more than ISIS).   When I expressed concern about living in a Covenant Controlled area when we first moved to the Denver area,  folks would tell me that if I didn't like the rules they made, I should join the HOA myself so I could have input.   Why on earth, if I hate the idea of having others who aren't paying my mortgage or taxes tell ME what to do with MY home, would I wan't to inflict my values on someone else?   Answer?  I wouldn't!   I really don't understand the need some have to control or oversee what others are doing unless there really is a problem.   I do 'see' making rules so there won't BE a problem, but creating detailed rules covering every aspect of everyone's homes ~~ well, not something I like.  Anyway, maybe this dust up was good for the neighborhood and everyone can take a deep breath and relax.  I hope.   I know the folks who volunteer for the HOA Board or committees donate a lot of their time and really do want to make things good for everyone, but there also seems to be a lot of ego involved.

The issue with "ornamentation" is that the way the covenants are written you can't have a gazing ball or chimes or well, you name it, without permission.  There was a 'rider' before that recognized how much of a burden that would place on the homeowners to have to ask permission for every little thing, and I think it would have gotten really old for those committee members who had to APPROVE every little thing, too.  The new rule would have done away with the rider, and that was primarily what we voted against.   A few of the folks really would like to micro-manage the neighborhood like that, but those folks need to get a life, and not mine!  Most I think mean well and respect their neighbors.   I think maybe this little Push-Back was good for the few Control Freaks.  I hope!

And so on, to fight another day.   Have a good one!

(I'm stealing your pansy border.  :-)   I made a couple of other ones that I will share too.)

RE:WELCOME TO APRIL CHAT
(Date Posted:04/10/2015 9:47 PM)

Yay, I am glad you have some options for housekeepers. I just knew that there had to be others in your area that used housekeepers too.  Unless Marcela is dying, there is no reason that she could not get back to you. I do not want to sound uncaring, but something is just not right there.

I suppose I can see some good aspects of a HOA. I would not be happy if my neighbors were parking junked cars in their yards or placing a black jockey.  But at the same time, if someone wants to put a well or bridge in their yard, I think that is their right and they should be able to do so. I would not care what color a neighbor painted their house.  They are the ones that have to live there. Though I might think twice about that if they painted it fluorescent orange or green, lol.

I woke up today in a lot of pain and had trouble walking. So I took 2 tylenol with codeine with my morning meds. Then I spent the morning falling asleep while I was on my tablet. I just could not stay awake. It has helped and I was able to put  the dishes away. But I wanted to wash the floors and was just too afraid to try it. Do not ask me what my mom spills on the floors, because she tells me she has no idea how the spots got there. There is a trail of spots through the dining room into the kitchen and in the kitchen there are 3 big splotches on the other side of the room and she has no clue where they came from. Lord help me but I do not know either. Maybe I can try tomorrow. I am going to take the tylenol with codeine when I go to sleep too and see if I can nip the pain in the bud.

No plans for this weekend. How about you? This   tag was a font challenge.

Hugs,

Hi.  A little late today, but with a good excuse.  We interviewed 'Madeline' and hired her!   She has a very full schedule and lots of clients, but she found a niche for us at the perfect time ~~ 9AM every other Friday!  Next Friday, she will deep clean to get us back up to where we should be, and then come every other Friday after that for a "regular" clean.  As we request, maybe every other month, she will clean the basement Guest Suite for an additional charge.
This really sounds good, but of course we will have to see.  The fact that she cleans for several others in the neighborhood makes me think she will do a good job.    If not, though it will be awkward to 'fire' her, I do have lots of other names.

All of our other cleaning ladies have brought their own vacuums, but I think Madeline really would prefer to use ours.  Our Hoover is good but old and uses vacuum bags and we've been talking about replacing it with something that has newer technology.  We also have a nice little cordless, but it doesn't have any attachments ~ good for the floors, but not more.  Madeline has an old Eureka but she was very enthusiastic about the Shark and said she'd recommended one to Sherri and she got one and loves it.   Soooo ~~ you can guess ~~~ we ordered one.    The Vets or ARC may be getting a good but old Hoover.      And that's how we spent our morning!
smiley27

Mike and I feel that we won't hear from Marcela again, either.  I think that's a terrible way to treat people, but we haven't felt that her heart was in it for a long time.  I asked her more than once after she started working at the restaurant if she still wanted to clean for us, and she said yes.   I really think, but of course don't know for sure, that her hours changed again at the restaurant and she didn't want to tell me so she just called in sick~~~~ and hoped I wouldn't contact her.   Her next scheduled date is this coming Thursday.  I plan to text her on Wednesday and ask how she is and tell her that because we haven't heard from her, we assume she isn't planning on coming on Thursday, but just in case she is, out of consideration I want to let her know we've made other plans.  Bub-bye.     I suspect she'll be relieved, but as I said, I don't think we deserved to be treated that way.
No matter.  Hopefully now we'll get a cleaner house ~~ at least I hope so!

I think Madeline is afraid of cats.  I told her we had two before she came so she could say "No thank you" if she were allergic or didn't like cats, so she will just have to deal with them.  She doesn't do litter boxes, which is kind of too bad, but neither Kim or Lisa, both of whom had cats of their own, would touch the litter box.  Marcela, who had two dogs, just started doing the litter box without being asked, and brought toys for them.   Funny about that.  Mike will miss having her do the litter when she's here, but he has to do it other days so it won't be a big deal.  As long as she moves it and vacuums and washes the floor in their bathroom, I'm happy.

I hate that you are still having so much pain.   Your floor sounds like ours, but I DO know what those sploches are.  They are compliments of Sneezy the Cat or sometimes Litter Box Feet cat.  See?  It could be worse ~~ MUCH worse.  LOL
I really hope the codeine works and you CAN nip the pain before it gets a grip on you.

Thank you for the lovely tag!   I'm so spoiled!

RE:WELCOME TO APRIL CHAT
(Date Posted:04/11/2015 8:35 PM)

I slept well and was doing ok, until I mopped the dining room floor. It needed to be done and mom had already done the kitchen floor while I was still asleep. She also vacuumed the living room. So I could not let her do anymore of it. It may have gone better had I used my wheeled stool, but I thought it would go quicker standing. I had to stop once and sit, then continue. By the time I was done, my back and hip were killing me.  I was a fool.  It has relaxed and is much better now.

Yay for finding Madeline. I love the name. I hope she works out for you. Marcela will be relieved. I believe as you do that she just did not want to do it anymore and did not have the gumption to tell you. Your plan sounds perfect to me. I have heard a lot of good things about the shark. I would like the shark floor steam cleaner but mom does not seem interested in it. My sisters love theirs and they got them from mom 2 years ago for Christmas. I thought she would get one then. There are usually great sales on them that time of year. As far as the litter box, I guess that is something that should be decided up front. Some might think they are there to clean up after you but not your pets. Others would just see it as part of cleaning. Who knows. It must be like that saying "I don't do windows, lol".
Nothing else going on by me. Same old boring day after day, after day, after day......

Hello

Looks like another beautiful day today, heading for the low 70s.  Yesterday was purrfect. I only went out to get the mail and it was so warm and lovely.  I wished that I could go for a nice long walk.

I am, as they say, "Cautiously Optimistic" about Madeline.  I'm very hopeful.  She charges by the hour and not by the job, but I think ultimately it will be very close to what we paid Marcela.  The first time where we've asked for a Deep Clean will be more but we really think the house needs a deep cleaning.   I just hope her idea of "Deep clean" and mine are the same ~~~ lol

I love old "B" Horror movies, so I've wanted to see that movie they keep advertising "Shark vs Dyson" ~~ LOL.   Marcela and before that Lisa both loved their Dysons.  I have to tell you, I haven't been impressed.  Our old Hoover does a much better job.   We ordered the Shark from Amazon and it really looks like it will be great.  They do have an attachment that will go under appliances and under the bed and whatever, although I'll be glad to have someone else using it.  My stander-bender-reacher doesn't work like normal folk's.       Madeline definitely likes it better than the Dyson, particularly for pet hair, and of course it's cheaper too.
I am anxious to get it and try it though, and I'll let you know what we think.  I'm sure I will just let her use it most of the time.  One of the kewl things about the one we are getting is that it converts from an upright to a canister so you (not me, of course ~ ha!) can carry it easily to vacuum the stairs and whatever.  The customer reviews were very positive.
This is the one we ordered.

No news from here today either ~~ but that's just fine with me. ;-)

Have a great day!

Hello my sister/friend
That Shark looks awesome. I love some of the features it has. The carry feature is really nice. I cannot even recall what our vacuum is.  It has not been working very well. Seems to get clogged up easily and is a mess to clean out.  Whenever we turn it off it leaves a little pile of dirt.  We will think good thoughts that Madeline will be everything you want her to be. And if she is not, well then you move on to someone else on the list until you find the right fit.
I slept till nearly 10am today. Wow, I felt bit disoriented when I woke up. I think that was due to the tylenol with codeine. Or just so much sleep. I am used to 6 hrs and this was 8hrs. Hope I can sleep tonight after all that.
Diane took mom grocery shopping and I hate it as she lets mom shop while she shops and mom gets wrong things.  Instead of Brisk Half and Half Cherry Limeade she got Brisk Lemon.  Which is a full tea that I do not like. So I go a whole week without any.   And she got the micro shredded cheese that I do not like instead of the normal shredded and I could go on and on. She never finds the right thing. Crapola but it makes me mad. Diane does not know...Suz does.  I said right in front of her last night that maybe Diane could take you shopping mom. That was a hint for Suz to say she would and she did not so I contacted Diane and she said she would. Yet this morning at church she said to mom that she would have taken her.  Mom said we talked about it right in front of you and you did not say a word. Jeepers...I do not get her a lot of then time. She is often deceptive and I do not completely trust her.  She had me checking her email for a form from her landlord that she wanted me to print and I saw her cell phone bill.  I freaked out as I am on her plan. She owes over $700.  They all have damn smart phones and access the internet and play games there.  I said nothing to her as it will do not good.  But I worry.
Anywho, this tag was a tree challenge.

Good Morning!

Looks like another pretty day today.  Yesterday looked like it would be nice, but then the wind started and didn't let up.  Really hate the winds.   It's supposed to get cold later in the week ~~ but we'll see.

I have a dental appointment tomorrow morning ~ oh goody.    We'll either go out for breakfast afterwards or for an early dinner later, I think.   Today not much planned unless Mike makes a small grocery run.

We should get the Shark tomorrow.  I'm kind of excited ~ though we KNOW that won't last long.  I will consider it Madeline's Shark ~~ lol.  I sent Sherri a note telling her that we had hired Madeline (her recommendation) and bought a Shark (which she also did on Madeline's recommendation).   She sent a note back saying she thought we would love both!  ;-)

You took MY sleep!   I wondered who had done it.  Last night was very bad for sleeping, but amazingly I feel pretty good today.

It is so The Pits not to be able to do things for yourself.  Your getting groceries is a prime example.   Mike does ours or we order it delivered so we mostly get what we want.  Mike does buy extra things that catch his eye, and that's sometimes a problem from the storage space prospective.   I had the Pantry organized beautifully, and now it looks like Magee's Closet.  If I can't find things at a glance, I make him get them for me since he's the one who keeps messing it up.  I've given up on organizing anything he uses.  Ah, but that's another tangent, isn't it?  Ha!

I'm sorry Diane took your mom and she got the wrong things. That sticks you with things you don't like, and it's irritating.  Hopefully Suz will do it most of the time.

Holy Moly, a $700 Cell Phone Bill!  I guess that's really not out of the norm for families, but it still freaks me.   We spend what I think is an outrageous amount for Cable and Cell phones and Internet, but those things have kind of replaced much of our previous entertainment and trips and such, so I justify it.  We are not close to $700 ~ but there are only the two of us.

How is the pain today?  I hope it's getting better every day.   When do you hear from the Kidney people?  Prayers that all is well.

Oooh, another lovely tag and border!  Thank you!!

Have a great day!

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE WEIDER HOUSEHOLD.
MUCH LIKE ANY OTHER DAY.  NOTHING NEW OR EXCITING. THE PAIN HAS BEEN BETTER TODAY. THE MORNING WAS NOT GREAT AND I TOOK 1 TYLENOL WITH CODEINE AND 1 EXTRA STRENGTH.  I WAS GETTING THE PAIN IN THE ANKLE AND LOWER LEG.
THIS EVENING IT IS PRETTY GOOD.
THE BORDER FROM THE TREE TAG IS NOT NEW OR MINE, LOL.  JUST GOT IT FROM OUR GREEN BORDERS. IT MATCHED VERY WELL.  I ENDED UP USING THIS FALL BORDER AS IT MATCH THE TAG CLOSEST, THOUGH IT IS NOT A FALL TAG.  NOT REAL HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS, BUT THEY ARE WHAT THEY ARE.  IT WAS A MASK CHALLENGE.  I SHOULD HAVE USED LESS NOISE SO THAT MY GLITTER WOULD NOT BE SO BUSY.  I ALSO DO NOT LIKE MY DARK BACKGROUND.  I SHOULD HAVE USED ANOTHER MASK ON IT.
I NEED TO START WORKING ON MY BEDROOM. IT NEVER GOT FINISHED LAST SUMMER SINCE I GOT SO SICK.  AND NOW IT IS WORSE IN THE RESPECT THAT SO MUCH MORE "THINGS" GOT STUFFED IN THERE OVER THE WINTER.  WE ALSO MISSED THE CHURCH RUMMAGE SALE SO THINGS WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN TO ST VINCENT DE PAUL'S OR THE SALVATION ARMY. I DO NOT LIKE DONATING TO GOODWILL ANYMORE.  THEY GET SO MUCH STUFF FROM STORES I LIKE TO HELP THE LESS FORTUNATE RESALE STORES.
SUZ WAS COMPLAINING TO MOM ABOUT NOT HAVING MONEY FOR GROCERIES THIS WEEK.  MOM DID NOT FALL FOR IT.  IF THEY CAN SMOKE, THEN THEY CAN FIND A WAY TO GET FOOD.  PRIORITIES ARE SO OUT OF WHACK THERE.  WHEN SHE SHOPS FOR MOM SHE USUALLY GETS A FEW THINGS FOR HER HOUSE AND MOM PAYS FOR IT.  SHE DID NOT OFFER TILL AFTER THE FACT SO IT IS HER LOSS.
WELL, THAT'S IT FROM ME.  SEE YOU TOMORROW.
HUGS,

Hello.   Late again, but with a good excuse ~~ The Dentist!   Good appointment with the Hygenist but my Dentist wasn't there.  She's still on maternity leave and at home with her brand new 5 week old.  I missed seeing her, but the Hygenist was good and I can't help being happy for my lovely Dr.

Mike is making a grocery store run, so I'm getting a chance to say Hi to you.
Don't anybody tell Barb, but we are heading for 81 degrees today!   The snow that was in the forecast for tomorrow or Thursday seems to have been taken out, though it will be much colder (50s?) and rainy.

We're going out, maybe to the Outback, for dinner tonight, but aside from waiting for our new Shark to arrive ~~ and you know we'll have to try him out ~~ not much else is planned.    Do you all remember the old Saturday Night Live "Land Shark"?  That's what waiting for our Shark makes me think of.   LOL

The tag is impressive ~ Thank you!  It's been so long since I've really done anything in PSP other than just add a name to a tube or snag. You are doing such impressive work!

I'm glad the pain is getting under control now.  Whew ~ eh?

Cleaning our the stuff in your bedroom, if it is anything like the 'stuff' that seems to accrue in different's nicks and niches at our house, never mind the basement storage areas, is no small undertaking.  I wish you luck!

From all you've said, I think it's really good that your mom didn't offer Suz money for groceries.  Unless they have to fix the problem themselves, it's never going to get fixed.   I can see buying a few things for her when she takes your mom for groceries and helps her, but that really is different.

Shogun is in the Powder Room, sitting on the toilet tank, waiting for someone to come in and release the Water Monster so he can attack it.  I know I should ignore him so he doesn't get the idea to do that with other faucets, but he really does crack me up.

Have a good one.
