RE:MARCH Check In
(Date Posted:03/08/2013 10:50 PM)

LOL, Dorothy, yes I was messing with it still.  Taking my a while to figure it all out and it is mostly trial and error.  Next time I mess with it, I need to write down what does what.  I think I will be leaving it alone now and hope I have not screwed up anything too badly for annnieM.  Just I was tired of it saying February, lol.
I am glad to hear that they are staining the fence.  I think that a lousy looking fence gives the wrong impression about the community.  What good does it do to have all those beautiful homes, well kept lawns, etc it the fence running around the place looks like crap.
My friend Carol (one of my nurse friends)
birthday is this month and she wanted us to go to Red Lobster.  We kind of shut her down on it and now I am glad we did.  We cannot count on the weather yet for going somewhere to eat and the closest one is in Appleton, a 45 min drive.  A nice drive in good weather but not with snow!!
Will have to remind mom about getting some corned beef for making corned beef and cabbage.  Ooohhh, but I go to have my INR checked on the 18th....that will not work well.  Maybe we could wait and have it on the 18th.  We will see.  Nothing new here otherwise.  We are celebrating Jason's birthday tomorrow.  So I probably will not make it in here tomorrow.  Have a great weekend all.
Hugs,

annnieM

RE:MARCH Check In
(Date Posted:03/09/2013 9:02 AM)

Spring Ahead!

Morning Glories.

Blizzard today ~ or so they say. It's really coming down. Quite beautiful, actually. I'm going to need to curl up in front of a window with a nice hot cuppa and maybe a good book. I love to watch the snow come down when I know I don't have to drive in it or shovel it. It's supposed to be like this, blowing snow until afternoon, then just snow until 9 or 10 PM. Then tomorrow ~~~ Sunny!

I marinated a BBQ brisket overnight so I'll pop it in the oven around 11:30 and let it slow cook until 5 or so, then scrape off any remaining fat and add the Cookies BBQ Sauce and cook it for another hour. Such a lovely easy meal, and one that will keep on giving, too.

Mike went to a new-to-us meat market yesterday that was easier to get into and involved less walking. Everything looked great and the owners seemed very knowledgable, which is a plus.

He has really been dragging, so exhausted. It's worrisome. I do think it's largely because his balance is so bad he has to fight to stay upright and that IS exhausting. He gave in and called his Neurologist last night and has a new prescription wating at Walgreens for the Levadopa type medicine.  Dr says he should see really good results quickly. His lips to God's ears.   Mike has an appointment in less than two weeks so he'll have a chance to talk to his Dr face to face about how it's working and ask any questions that have come up. We probably won't be able to pick up the prescription until tomorrow because of the snow today.

smiley7
Lou Ann, I love your Irish Blessing.

Normally Red Lobster has very good food. I don't know what happened ~ this was their Lobster Fest so it should have been great, but it was such a disappointment. First time ever, though, so don't write it off ~ when the weather is nicer and you wouldn't mind the drive.

I wouldn't hate it if they stained our fence, too.  It really doesn't show to anyone except the people on our little block, so it's not as important as the one actually separating the community from the rest of the world, but it would be nice to have ours done, too.   I don't know if it's worth the expense or not ~ but as long as they don't raise our dues, I think we'll be pretty happy with it.

So now, we have only three houses to build in our neighborhood, and they are in various stages. The one on our block has the basement poured and the framing was going up before the storm. The next one down the street in front of us was just staked out, and the last one, right next to it the lot has been sold but no work begun yet. I'm pretty sure by the end of they year they will all be done, or very nearly. Where the two houses up the street are there has been a mountain of dirt ever since we moved in. That's where they dump all the dirt they dig up. Now the mountain has been hauled away. I can see the mountain regrowing when they dig the basement for the house that is staked, but what will they do when they dig the last basement? They can't haul all the dirt away because they will need to backfill after the basement has been poured. It will be interesting.

Can you go a day early for your INR, say the 16th?  Then can enjoy St Pats and leftovers too!

smiley7
It's practically a white-out out there now. We have the shades open in the bedroom and I'm still in bed, talking to y'all. Must get up and build a fire and get a hot cuppa so I can enjoy the view even more.

Have a great day, everyone!

I can't believe it is the ninth of March before I get in here.
Hi Lou Ann.  So sorry to hear about your niece Sarah overdosing.  What a horrible thing!  You have my sympathy.  Tuesday it had been one year since my nephew died in a car accident.  He was 31.  It's so hard when young people die.
Hi Dorothy.  Congratulations on your big tax return.

In July of last year I went for a wheelchair fitting.  I still do not have my new wheelchair.  I desperately need it as I cannot stand to sit in this old one for more than a couple hours.  Jamie has been calling the office we went through to complain about it and finally told them I think they're waiting for me to die rather than give me a wheelchair.  Hopefully now they will get serious.  My life has shrunk to nothing because I can't stand to be on my chair.  I can't go anywhere or do anything.  Grumble, grumble.

Wishing everyone a wonderful month.  Thanks to whoever did the March skin and thank you Lou Ann for the opening page.

Hugs, grannnieM

Top of the Whatachamacallit.

Didja remember to Spring Ahead? I seem to be half-sprung. I woke up WAY too early according to the clock I didn't set on my nightstand, and only a bit too early according to the clock on the TV which 'they' set for me. Mike's still sleeping.

I don't know the exact snow totals for Arvada, but Jefferson County (where Arvada lives) got 14 inches. By the end of the day it was very wet and melt-y. Barbara or someone shoveled our walk and drive yesterday morning, and though it snowed all day, it never accumulated much on the pavement after she did. The deck and lawn have a LOT of snow, so I guess while I thought it was unnecessary because the official shovelers will take care of it, we'll be dry as soon as the sun comes out, and others won't.

I'm not sure what to do to thank her.

smiley5
annnieM, I have to admit I was getting a bit worried about you.  We all know things have been difficult for you and we sure don't want to make you feel like you have to come in anymore often than you can easily to talk to us, but it's sure good to see you at least stop by and say "I'm ok" from time to time.    We're all worry-warts.

I did see the beautiful picture you posted on face book with adorable Henry.  Just precious!

I can't imagine ANY excuse for taking so long to get your new wheelchair for you!   I'm glad Jamie gave them hell (at least I hope she did!).  I'd like to write to them myself (since sometimes putting things in writing forces people to act)!  It's shameful.

I hate for you to be so limited, and especially when there is a way to liberate you at least somewhat.  Seriously, I have a regular pen-pal thing going with the doofuses who are supposed to represent me in the House and Senate.  If there is someone in Medicare I can yell at for you, let me know.   It really makes me mad.
ok. ok.  I'll calm down and get my nose out of your business.  I just wish there were SOMETHING I could do.

Lou Ann did the March skin as well as our opening page.
Let me know if there is anything here I can pick up for you too, until you can spend more time online.

Wishing everyone asmiley8day.

Hello everyone!  I am like Dorothy and I feel half sprung.  Dave's alarm clock reset itself, but mine is a piece of doggie Doo, so it did not.  Oh well.  Mine said 5:00, and I was just rolling over to go back to sleep when Dave told me it was six.  I got up.  I hate springing ahead.  I much prefer to fall back.  My mom is coming out today to watch a movie I ordered from netflix because she wanted it.  It is a French film with subtitles.  It was a good film, but Dave doesn't think so.  It will be interesting to see what my mom thinks.  It is about a quadriplegic, so kind of too close to home for me, but still it was good.
Picture20111.gif picture by annnieM_2007

Hi Dorothy.  I don't think there is anyone at Medicare that you could write to about my wheelchair.  Thank you anyway.  Jamie got the head honcho at the place where the wheelchair was ordered to commit to checking on it for us, so I expect a phone call back soon.

Picture20111.gif picture by annnieM_2007
Thanks, Lou Ann, for spiffing up the skin for March!  It's lovely!  You do great work!

Wishing everyone a spectacular Sunday!  Hugs,

HELLO LADIES

IF YOU WERE ENGLISH I WOULD WISH YOU A HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

DOROTHY, I AM ADDING MIKE INTO MY PRAYERS THAT THE NEW MED HELPS HIM AND ANNNIEM WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOUR WC TO GET OKAYED AND SENT SOON.  IT IS ALWAYS A LONG WAIT FOR MEDICARE TO OK ANYTHING.

IN CASE YOU ALL MISSED THE 6TH, I THOUGH I WOULD SHARE THIS HERE. IT WAS IN THE DAYS LIST FROM THE OPENING PAGE FOR MARCH. IT WAS LEARN WHAT YOUR NAME MEANS DAY. I AM A GRACEFUL WARRIOR, LOL.

I CANNOT CHANGE MY INR DAY AS THIS ONE IN AN APPT IN THE CLINIC.  DANG!!  OH WELL, IT IS EVEN BETTER THE 2ND DAY, SO MOM CAN MAKE IT AND I WILL EAT SOMETHING ELSE AND THEN HAVE IT ON THE 18TH.  SO FAR SHE HAS NOT MENTIONED MAKING IT.  SO MAYBE I WILL REMIND HER AFTER THE DATE, LOL.

RE:MARCH Check In
(Date Posted:03/11/2013 10:11 AM)

Mike got his new prescription yesterday, (It is the generic Carbadopa 25-Levadopa 100) He is to take one a day for three days, then two a day for three days, and then three a day from then on. So far, after one pill, we are not seeing results, either positive or negative. smiley57 Might have to wait a few days. Ha.

I have an annual blood test tomorrow, and I also need to have my INR (blood thinner test) done in the Lab and then do my "at home" finger stick test as close to that time as I can to test the accuracy of my at-home testing equipment. I know this is silly, but if you'd say a little prayer that everything goes well, First that they have no trouble getting blood from this Turnip, then that there are no irregularities, and that the Lab and At-Home INR tests match so I don't have to trade in my machine and do lots of comparison testing, I'd appreciate it.
I don't really expect any problems, but I so don't want any unhappy surprises. I feel like my plate is full.

We're still enjoying the BBQ Brisket, probably through tomorrow. Then on Wednesday, Mike will make the corned beef and cabbage, we may go out for fish on Friday and finish up the corned beef on Saturday, and I'll make Irish Stew on Sunday. We need to pick up the veggies tomorrow when we go for my blood test.

I have a question about cookie dough. Have you ever made it and frozen it?
I love having cookies or something on hand if someone stops over, but it's a problem for us when I bake or buy cookies to have them on hand, without eating most of the batch ourselves ~ which we soooo don't need to do. Even when you cut the recipe, it makes too many cookies to just serve one or two guests when I know in advance someone is coming over. Then I have LEFTOVERS. And of course it's impossible to quickly bake a batch for spur of the moment company. Just having cookies setting around In Case someone comes over is an invitation to disaster!

SOOOO, I found a solution! There is a Cookie Company that sells frozen cookie dough, in addition to selling their freshly baked cookies (which look yummy). The dough is pre-formed, so you just have to take however many little balls of cookie dough from the freezer and pop them into the oven and 12-14 minutes later you have cookies! Having the cookie dough on hand means that if I'm talking to a neighbor and spur of the moment invite them in for coffee, I can pop half a dozen cookies in the oven last minute and have something to serve!

I ordered Snickerdoodle and double chocolate with peanut butter chips, and we made just a few cookies and tried them to see how they were. Actually pretty good (and probably why I didn't lose any weight this week, though I only ate two of each kind "just to be sure they would be good enough to serve"smiley57).
I love the idea of having them on hand! Made me wonder if I couldn't make some of my own favorite dough and do the same with it. I expect the company flash freezes their dough, and I couldn't do that, so I wonder if it would work. I really love this idea. Rather like being able to quickly run to the bakery in your own pantry.

I'm so mad at myself!  Army Wives was back last night and I completely forgot!  Hope I can catch it OnDemand.   I wonder who survived.

Hey, annnieM! Wonderful to see you. I was getting worried.

I'm with you ~ I'd much rather Fall Back than Spring Ahead. My Spring has pretty much Sprung. Ha.

I can't imagine your mom (or anyone!) wanting to watch a French movie with subtitles! I don't read fast, and by the time I've finished reading the subtitle I can't even glance at the people who are talking. Ha. We watch a lot of British mystery series, and (stop laughing!) we often turn on the subtitles so we can understand what they are saying. I'm not sure what language they speak in England, but I don't think it's American English. At least I don't have to read every word, so I can look at the actors too.

I still can't believe it has taken so long to get your wheelchair. They should be ashamed! This is just wrong.

Lou Ann, I didn't realize yesterday was Mother's Day in Britain, but one of my friends was saying things about the special treatment she was getting that made me wonder.

When you first put the calendar events up, I saw the Names List and was going to make a mental note to remember and comment on it.  We can see how well THAT went!   Graceful Warrior ~ that's cool.  I am a Gift from God, so you can't give me back.  It would be rude.

Sure and I hope you do get your Corned Beef and Cabbage!

I told Mike you were praying for him,and he really appreciates it.

Have a Mahvelous Monday, all!

RE:MARCH Check In
(Date Posted:03/11/2013 9:06 PM)

WELL, WELL, WELL......

SUCH A DEEP SUBJECT FOR SUCH A SHALLOW MIND, LOL.

TODAY I BALANCED CHECKBOOKS...MOMS TOOK ME QUITE A WHILE AND PART OF THE PROBLEM WAS MY ERROR.  EACH MONTH I REWRITE HER CHECKBOOK ON PAPER AS THERE ARE SO MANY SCRIBBLED OUT AND WHITED OUT STUFF AND ERRORS THAT I CANNOT MAKE HEADS OR TOES OF IT.  SO I REWRITE IT.  I DO NOT THINK IT WOULD BE SO BAD IF SHE WOULD JUST LET ME BALANCE IT EACH MONTH INSTEAD OF HER DOING IT, BUT THAT IS NOT LIKELY TO HAPPEN.  MY ERROR WAS FROM LAST MONTH.,.ONE OF THE NUMBERS I REWROTE I COPIED WRONG.  IT WAS AN OUTSTANDING CHECK SO IT DID NOT EFFECT IT LAST MONTH OTHER THEN THE BALANCE I LISTED.  WITH IT COMING BACK THIS MONTH THAT MADE THE NUMBER DIFFERENT.  I FOUND THAT.  ALSO WERE MOM WROTE A CHECK THAT SHE NEVER WROTE.  THERE WAS NO CHECK NUMBER NEXT TO IT AND NONE MISSING, THEREFORE NO CHECK, THAT WAS $75.  THEN SHE MISNUMBERED 3 ENTRIES IN A ROW AND THOUGHT SHE WROTE IN THE WRONG AMOUNT AND SUBTRACTED AN ADDITIONAL $60 AND SUBTRACTED THAT.  SHE WRITES IN THE WRONG AMOUNT EVERY MONTH FOR ONE OF HER INSURANCES SO EACH MONTH SHE IS OFF THE 8 CENTS, LOL.  BUT I GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT.  MY CHECKBOOK WAS OFF 6 CENTS WHICH I FOUND IN THE 2ND TO LAST ENTRY...I HAD NOT DONE MY OWN CHECKBOOK IN 2 MONTHS...I FORGOT.  AT LEAST THAT IS DONE FOR ANOTHER MONTH.

TOMORROW I WILL CLEAN THE BATHROOM.  I NOTICED IT NEEDS IT.  I HATE HAVING A WHITE FLOOR IN THERE.  EVERY LITTLE SPOT SHOWS UP.  STUFF IT ALWAYS TRACKED IN FROM THE KITCHEN.  IT IS PROBABLY JUST AS WELL IT IS WHITE, OTHERWISE I MIGHT NOT SEE THAT IT IS DIRTY.

DOROTHY, I AM SURE THAT MIKE'S MED NEEDS TO BUILD UP SOME IN HIS BODY.  ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS ONE HE HAS TO EASE INTO.  THEY WANT TO BUILD IT SLOWLY THE THE BODY ADJUSTS AS THE DOSE INCREASES.  WILL KEEP PRAYING.   YES, YOU CAN FREEZE YOUR COOKIE DOUGH.  BUT YOU NEED TO PUT IT ON TRAYS AND SET IT IN THE FREEZER SO THAT EACH "COOKIE" FREEZES INDIVIDUALLY AND THEN WHEN THEY HAVE YOU CAN BAG THEM ALL TOGETHER.  IF YOU DO NOT PREFREEZE THEM THEY WILL ALL STICK TOGETHER AND IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM APART.  EVEN JUST A COUPLE HOURS ON TRAYS IN THE FREEZER AND THEN BAG THEM TOGETHER IN A RESEALABLE BAG.  WE HAVE BOUGHT THESE KIND OF COOKIES IN FUND RAISERS BEFORE.  WE ALSO MADE COOKIES THIS WAY AT WORK AND WE KEPT BIG BOXES OF DIFFERENT KINDS IN THE WALK IN FREEZERS.  MY FAVORITE WAS THE WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA NUT.  YUMMMM!!  IT WORKS SO NICELY AS MOM WILL POP IN HALF A DOZEN OR SO AND WE HAVE COOKIES FOR A COUPLE DAYS OR NOT, DEPENDING IF ANY OF THE NEPHEWS STOP IN, LOL.

I WILL SAY A LITTLE PRAYER THAT YOUR MACHINE MATCHES UP WITH THE CLINIC AND THAT ALL REMAINS WELL THERE.

LOL, DOROTHY, WHEN WE WATCHED THE HENRY THE 8TH SERIES WE HAD THE CLOSED CAPTIONING ON TOO SO THAT WE COULD KNOW WHAT THEY WERE SAYING.  OTHERWISE WE WERE STOPPING, GOING BACK AND REPLAYING ALL THE TIME.  IT REALLY HELPS A LOT.

WELL GOING TO GO WORK ON MY NEXT PLUGIN LESSON...IT IS NUMBER 99!

HUGS,

RE:MARCH Check In
(Date Posted:03/12/2013 9:26 AM)

Good Morning. I was supposed to go to the Lab for my bloodtests this morning. It was supposed to be a bright, bright sunshiney day. but it's snowing like a son-of-a-gun! (Thanks, Weather Folk!)
I won't ask Mike to drive in the snow, but I'm a day overdue for my fingerstick because I didn't want to go on Monday when it's the busiest at the Lab, so they will start yelling at me in an automated fashion today.  I've fasted for the 'regular' blood test but . . . . What's that old line ~ If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

Marcela comes tomorrow morning, so the Fates are conspiring against me.  I was totally flumoxed when I saw the snow, but we've decided to just let the Finger-Stick Folks keep yelling at me, and go on Thursday morning.   My Cardiologist only needs me to get it done once a month unless there is a problem, but the Lab that controls the Finger Stick insists that I do it every two weeks.  Their "rule" is actually every week, but I got "special dispensation" to do it every other week.  Of course it's all about money for them, but I love the convenience of doing it at home and not needing three phlobotomists try to get blood from this turnip when I go into the Lab, so I play by their rules.
I want to get the regular blood test done before my annual appointment with my Cardiologist on the 26th, so I need to get-er- done now.   Nothing is EVER easy in Dorothy World.

smiley1
Lou Ann, I 'hear' you about balancing the check books.  Your mom is lucky you do this for her.  It can be such a pain!   I usually don't have too much trouble balancing the check books (mine and ours ~ Mike never makes any entries at all in his, but it's not my problem!), but when I transfer figures to our Budget Book, then the "fun" often begins.

No, I really do understand that Mike's meds must build up in his system.  I was just being smarty-mouth.

Thanks for the information on freezing cookie dough.  I've never done it (obviously) but I love the convenience of just being able to pop a few in the oven spur of the moment.

Thanks for the prayers ~ keep 'em coming till Thursday??  I've never tried to co-ordinate the Lab-Finger Stick results AND the normal annual blood test before.  I seemed like a good idea at the time because of my cruddy veins, but now it's becoming a major pain in the tush!

I have lost all of my plugins changing PCs over the years, except a few in boxes that I haven't bothered to reinstall.   I used to love working with filters and plugins, but now I do so little in PSP.  Well, heck, now I do so little, Period.  LOL
You've done wonderful things with your plugin class!

You should SEE all the snow we have, when we weren't supposed to have any!   Way to go, Weather Folk!

I got a call from the supervisor at the place where I had my chair fitted and Social Security agrees that I need this chair, so they will order it immediately.  She will call me and let me know when that is done and Amy an idea when I should get my chair.  I do believe I will have it be for a year is up!  Hallelujah!

Hi Lou Ann.  I did read the meaning of my name---from the valley---and thought it was appropriate that I now live in pleasant valley.  Holy shmoley that you are on lesson number 99!  Reminds me of a song!  Your mother is so lucky you do her checkbook!  I concur with you about freezing cookies as little dough blobs--freeze them separately first.  Or you could freeze it in a container and just scoop it out.  The dough balls are most convenient.
bar2C20shamrock.gif picture by annnieM_2007
Hi Dorothy.  I'm kinda pretty sure about freezing cookie dough, but I do know that you can freeze cookies.  I have some in my freezer right now, that April left, and I tested one over the weekend and they are delicious!  I do know that you can buy frozen cookie dough, just in the grocery store.  Sorry I did not comment about Mike not feeling well.  I hope the new medicine helps when it kicks in.  As far as watching movies with subtitles, I enjoy it.  It's really not hard.  Since my son had a hearing problem we always had close caption on anyway, so I've learned to read along or ignore.  That probably gives me an edge with foreign film subtitles.

I'm on my own until 3:00 PM today as Jamie has classes.  I see a nap in my future.  LOL

Top o' the Mornin'

Marcela is coming in the morning so I'm posting early.

annnieM, Hooray! What wonderful news. It obviously took Jamie giving them hell, but at least you were able to get them off their arses. Hopefully the delivery date will be soon! I'm excited for you!

Thanks for the informationn on freezing already baked cookies.  Obviously we've never done that either.  Where have we been?!  Ha.  We have a few in the freezer right now, and we'll see how they come out of the freezer in a day or so, and I do plan to freeze some pre-formed cookie dough too.  We still have most of the David's Cookie dough, so I'll wait until that's gone.

Have a Happy Hump Day, All.

Hello ladies
Well, I have been lazy and did not do the bathroom.
So now I will have to do it tomorrow.  Not snowing here today, so keep your snow to yourself Dorothy.  If we get it I am holding you personally responsible.
smiley3
Ooh, I just remembered I made giftees!!

I hope you enjoy them.
My Aunt Fran that decided to live, has had a setback.  She had a TIA on Sunday.  At first it was looking pretty bad and my cousin thought it was a full stroke.  But everything seems to be clearing up and she is moving, thinking and speaking fine now...so only a small set back.  I cannot help but think it is due to how long she went with out moving or eating, as it had to have done some harm to her.  Please say a little prayer for her.  I do not want her going back into her depression.
Well that's it for now.  Nothing new to say.
Hugs,

If i had remembered these sooner I would have used a border that matched better, lol.

Lou Ann, thank you so much for the wonderful tag!   I love it!

Tiring day with Marcela here in the morning coupled with the fact that I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't get back to sleep.

Trying for the blood tests again in the morning.  Wish me luck.

Thanks again, Lou Ann!!!!!!!!

Hi Lou Ann!  Thank you so much for this lovely present!  I'm sorry that you did not get the bathroom done, but if you did not get the bathroom done because you were making us presents, then at least it was for a good cause.  Tee hee.  I do hope that your aunt Fran did just have a small setback.  I will hope and pray that she does not go back into her depression.  Good luck with cleaning the bathroom.  Thanks again for the signature.

Hi Dorothy!  Good luck with getting your blood tested!  Are Mikes new pills working?

Nothing much happening with me today.  Yesterday Zarah was here and little Henry now talks and coos and smiles up a storm!  Yesterday Henry did not cry for me but he rather smiled and talked to me!  He was precious!  I have been thinking about what I'm going to get him for Easter and we came up with quite a few ideas, Zarah and I.  I'm either planning on getting him a Johnny jump up or a bouncy walker thing.  I also can get him his first Easter basket!  How exciting!

Wishing everyone a thrilling Thursday!  Hugs,

annnieM

Hello ladies

Yay, I got the bathroom done today. Also it was mystery box day in a game I play with a group of friends and every Thurs I update that list. Takes a while to do it. So I got a lot done today, in my opinion anyway, lol.

I really should start tackling my bedroom.  It always gets bad over Christmas when we shove the extra furniture in there.  Once it comes out everything is a mess and there still is a bunch of boxes and wrapping supplies in there. If I got 24 hrs notice that someone was coming through the house, I would not make it in time.

Dorothy, I hope you numbers are good. I did say a prayer for you. Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight. I hate sleepless nights.  I did not go to sleep till nearly 4am as I was finishing up the 2nd book in another fantasy series I am reading. Now I will have to wait as the 3rd book has not been released yet and I can find nothing on when it will be released. The authors site is under construction.  These are her first fictional books and they are excellent.  When it comes to fantasy, I seem to be drawn to female authors.  I decided to take a break from fantasy, since this was my 5th one in a row. Now I am starting on a compilation book a novella's about Amish romances.  I love reading books about the Amish.

annnnieM, what a wonderful day your has with Zarah and Henry. Sounds as if he was truly a joy today. I am so glad he did not cry for you this time. He is getting to know you!!

Did I mention we got a new TV?  I probably did but am too lazy to look back.  We got an RCA 42in LCD Flatscreen.  I am loving.  I can see it so much better and can read the guide too.

Well, time to call it a night.

Hugs,
