 Shy and reticent Celina Jaitley claims she is famous throughout the world and compares herself favourably to superstar Madhuri Dixit. "Nobody knew Madhuri Dixit before Ek Do Teen, though she had done films before she did the song," she says, "But the whole world knows Celina Jaitley, I have a glamorous and sexy image. People recognise me all over the world." Does Celina's overtly sexy image bother her? "I must have done a good job and that is the reason why I'm famous for my glamorous image," she explains, "I have thousands of fans all over the world. People like the way I act and this image has given me a lot. There are many actors who've done multiple roles but still suffer from an identity crisis and, on the contrary, I need bodyguards all the time because of my status," Celina will soon be seen doing an item number in C Kkompany, an occupation she has previously kept away from. "I am doing this item song because I have called the shots here and nobody else has. It is a Punjabi song and I always wanted to do a Punjabi number because my dad is a Punjabi," she says. Born in Afghanistan, Celina was crowned Miss India in 2001 and has worked assiduously at her Bollywood career ever since. She appeared in No Entry and certainly caught the eye in Red: The Dark Side, controversial for its long sex scene. She was also in Shakalaka Boom Boom and Heyy Baby and will soon appear in Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. Recently, she filmed in Australia for her first international movie The Quest of Scheherazade, during the filming of which she was stalked - an experience she found very traumatic.
