 Katrina Kaif has just returned from Egypt after shooting a song with her favourite costar, Akshay Kumar, for the keenly awaited Singh Is Kinng. And while Katrina is delighted with the way the song has shaped up, she is even more charmed by Egypt and its culture. "It's among the most beautiful countries I have visited - the pyramids, the temples and the landscape are absolutely exotic. I even enjoyed the barbecue dinner on a boat on the Nile. We shot in a number of places and I've come back with fond memories of my trip." Ask her about the song she shot, Jee Karda, she smiles, "Wait and watch. It should be on air later this month. We shot at 4am every day to capture the light and it was scorching. To keep cool we would stay in shades and sip fruit juice or mint tea." Singh Is Kinng appears to be inextricably linked with the number 8.
The keenly anticipated music of the film is due to release in the week of 8th June while the film will release worldwide on 8th August.
Remarks Vipul Shah, "8 is lucky for me. I believe in it. 8th June is also my birthday, which is when the music is releasing. The film will release on 08.08.08., which is a fantastic date. These special dates do not come often".
The title track goes on television later next week. Singh Is Kinng is an Indian Films Studio 18 release worldwide.
