The 53rd Filmfare Awards will be announced on Saturday, 23rd February at Yash Raj Studios. And unlike every year this year it's next to impossible to correctly predict the winners for any categories because of the stiff competition. Taare Zameen Par, Chak De! India, Jab We Met, Om Shanti Om and Life... in a Metro are all vying for the top spot.  

And if the strong competition wasn't enough there's something else on every invite's mind - what to wear?  

Neeta Lulla says that this year it's going to be a mix of Indian and Western wear. "We will see a lot of gowns and dresses. You will see a few saris as well but it's all going to be about formal wear," informs Lulla.  

Who will dress whom?  

Manish Malhotra is most likely to dress Kareena and Karisma Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, Kajol and Rani Mukherji while Bipasha might stick to her favourite Rocky S while Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty are most likely to flaunt their firangi labels.  

The men who need to stick to suits won't sadly get a chance to flaunt too many labels around but nonetheless we can bet our last penny that we will see some Gucci, Armani and Versace suits on the red carpet on Saturday night.      

Acts to watch out for  

Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Amrita Arora, Sameera Reddy are expected to perform. Although its not been confirmed but we are told that Hrithik Roshan might take to the stage as well. Last year all the acts were recorded prior to the ceremony itself but this year some of the biggies are expected to perform live!  

Hosts with the Most  

Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan are expected to keep the elite guest list entertained through the evening. Just one piece of advice guys... we've had enough of the Kal Ho Naa Ho friendly banter... hopefully the script writers will churn out something new!
