Clean your glass shower:

To clean the glass in your shower
easily, apply lemon juice to the glass with a sponge. Then,
take newspaper and wipe the lemon juice off the glass. It

Remove tough food stains from plastic and light-colored
wooden cutting boards. Slice a lemon in half, squeeze the
juice onto the soiled surface, rub, and let sit for 20
minutes. Rinse with water.

* Never throw a squeezed lemon away without first using it
to rub over yours hands and elbows. It softens, cleans and
bleaches them.

* Rinse fingernails and hands daily in a lemon rinse.

Some uses for lemons :

Brighten laundry whites. Add 1/2 cup lemon juice to the wash
cycle of a normal-size load.

Relieve a sore throat. Cut a lemon in half. Skewer one
half over a medium flame on a gas stove or an electric
burner set on high and roast until the peel turns golden
brown. Let cool slightly, then mix the juice with 1
teaspoon of honey. Swallow the mixture.

For washing up, fill the bowl with hot water, a dash of
soap-powder and half a lemon. Wash in this solution and
rinse with clean water. This will clean the dishes much
better than any branded washing-up liquid, and makes glass
gleam!

Lemon Hair Rinse. Use diluted lemon juice in your final
rinse when washing light hair to increase shine. (1 part
lemon juice to 8 parts water).

If you apply lemon juice directly to soap scum and hard
water deposits, the lemon juice will help dissolve them.
You may have to let the lemon juice sit on the area for a
few minutes.
